SunFusion Solar was recently registered to Sandra Ellard (sole owner) with the City of San Diego. Sandy was most recently the VP of Operations at SouthCoast Energy where her husband Walter was the President/CEO. SouthCoast Energy and Walter Ellard are currently being sued for hundreds of thousands of dollars by its former customers and a large equipment supplier. A bunch of SouthCoast Energy's former customers ended up having liens placed on their homes because Walter and Sandy did not pay an equipment supplier for equipment SouthCoast Energy installed. Some of those customers could lose their homes if they cannot pay for the equipment a second time. At the time this review was written, SunFusion Solar was not licensed by the Contractors State License Board (CSLB) according to CSLB website.

SunFusion's website is secretive and it appears that Sandy and Walter don't want people to know who is running the new company. Who can blame them. I recommend that prior to giving SunFusion Solar a penny you research the owner, Sandra Ellard, her husband Walter Ellard, and SouthCoast Energy. Be sure to search the San Diego County Courts website for some info on Walter and SouthCoast Energy. You can obtain factual information regarding current and past lawsuits as well as criminal cases (be sure to search both civil and criminal cases).

SunFusion Solar sells top of the line equipment as well as quality installation that lasts, your installation and equipment should last 30 to 40 years. Other companies say they are the best at solar installation. Ok being the best take pride and knowledge of what you do, most solar contractors have 1 to 4 years experience SunFusion Solar Installs have over 15 to 20 years, the Director of Installations has over 24 years of training and knowledge of renewable energy and DC power. C-10 Electrical contractors should be the only contractor able to install your system, safety and power guaranty is top priority for an electrical contractor. Ask your solar contractor what their License starts with. 1) C-10 the only field that requires certified training by the state of California and the contractors state license board. This is who you should choose. 2) C-46 license is mainly for solar hot water but can do electrical Not certified by the state of California NABCEP is new about 5 to 6 years old and only deals with solar applications. 3) B-A License these companies can and mainly sub-contract to other companies like us. As you see anyone can install but the ones that are a problem are the one that dont know what they are doing. Nancy Martinez Senior Inspector, City of San Diego, John C. Wiles, Program Manager Southwest Technology Development Institute, New Mexico State University, Pat Healy Senior PV/Electrical Inspector County of San Diego. These people are all fed-up with the hazardous installation of non-qualified individuals and companies that are creating fire, safety and public concern.

SunFusion Solar is new, allegations to employees and owners are incorrect, SunFusion Solar Changed their name because we are 100% solar pv installers and we seem to be making our competitors mad because we can prove that everything said is false, also we are inviting all to check our past, if we did what the reviewer said we couldn't get a contractors number also we would not have happy customers.

There was 1 Supplier and we chose not to use them because they are too quick to put liens on homes. we have plenty of suppliers that we are in good standing with and several refusals for satisfied clients. unfortunately disgruntle employees that have nothing better to do with their time then to write negative reviews.

As for SouthCoast Energy and SunFusion Solar CSLB the Transformation is almoast completed.
