I signed up for Sunrocket telephone service in February 2007 and paid for one year of service. I have been having problems recently with my voice mail. I called the customer service number at 1-800-788-0132 only to get a recording to say we are not accepting new orders and or customer service calls. Called the main number in Virginia and cannot get anyone! I emailed several times and received no responses.

I have had Sunrocket for the past year + my 3 free months therefore I am one of the lucky ones. I have had relitivly few problems or outages and most were resolved quickly and courtesley (sp) I have just called my cable company this morning and am in the process of getting my service switched over hopefully before Sunrockets servers completly go down. Sunrocket I discovered was somehow linked to frontier so importing the number should be ok even though it will take 9 days or so. For those of youwho still have contracts left with sunrocket I just came across these articles that may be of some assistance to you. I have done no research on these companies and do not work for or endorse any of them but some places are coming to the aid of stranded sunrocket subscribers. forbes.com/businesswire/feeds/businesswire/2007/07/19/businesswire20070719005457r1.html tmcnet.com/channels/business-phone-system/articles/8690-nuvio-erases-black-mark-left-sunrocket-voip-failure.htm twice.com/article/CA6461478.html informationweek.com/internet/showArticle.jhtml;jsessionid=KWR3T2EJLDZIEQSNDLQCKHSCJUNN2JVN?articleID=201002263 forbes.com/businesswire/feeds/businesswire/2007/07/18/businesswire20070718005631r1.html forbes.com/prnewswire/feeds/prnewswire/2007/07/18/prnewswire200707181605PR_NEWS_B_WES_AQ_AQW127A.html washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/07/18/AR2007071802466.html I hope these articles are of assistance to some of you. I did a google search on sunrocket and many more articles and provoders are popping up to offer assistance I chose my Cable provider because they offered me a beyond fantastic deal (being I had my internet/phone tv service) with 3 different companies. My TV is with a satalite company and my cable company offered me what they call the "satalite buyback program" a locked in rate of 59.95 for 2 years including all of the premium movie and on demand channels, along with discounts on phone and internet service for rolling everything into service with them. I hope this helps everyone, and good luck finding a connectable dial tone.
