British Gaming Commision, SunSource Financial Mgt Group Beware! You Have NOT Won the Lottery Ripoff Edmonton Alberta
After recieving a perfectly vaild-looking check from SunSource claiming I had won the "British Lotto held in London, England", I immediately looked up all company names & bank accounts on the congratulations letter & the check itself. It was then that I found this website & the story of Jennifer from Jacksonville, FL. My suspicions were confirmed: this is financial fraud!
The check I recieved was reportedly from Wells Fargo whom I called & confirmed there was no acct. as the one listed at the bottom of the check. I then looked up the Secrect Service & contacted my local branch. They informed me that this is an operation known to them & they are tracking it. They advised me to mail in my "award letter" & the check for their information.
To find your local branch of the Secret Service in the U.S. go to secrectservice.gov/financial_crimes.shtml#Financial. (Not an easy address to type in, but what do you expect from bureaucracy?)
