Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I also had an experience similar to "Clay" from Plainfield, Illinois

My husband and I moved to the Ozarks from Illinois in july 2005. We wanted to get him a scooter to ride to work that was new, reliable and obviously good on gas. We went to the "Super Scooter Shop" in Springfield, Missouri. We bought the scooter that day on a credit card, they delivered and we thought all was honky- Dorey. My husband rode off into the sunset on the scooter the next day and got maybe thirteen miles away, the thing made a backfiring sound, and would not start again. He pushed it home and we called and spoke to Garys wife. She nonchalantly told us that there was nothing she could do but suggest we have them come pick it up from us.I said ok and she immediately told me that it was gonna be a 35.00 pickup fee. Needless to say that was not gonna fly with me, considering we spent 1405.00 not even 14 hours earlier! I mean what nerve of them! They did come pick it up and the run around began!!!!! It sat there a week and we were never called, I had to call and he gave me the run around big time! I said , "What are you gonna do about this" . He said"I dont know what to tell you" I said "can you give us something similar in price" He told me that there was nothing in his shop compariable in price, That was total B>S because we saw many comparable scooters in there. My husband went in there 3 weeks into them having the scooter in their shop, and asked for a refund. MR Vass said "NO Way" he didnt give refunds. Well thats what he thought! The credit card company came through and reversed the charges!!! Thats why i suggest wholehartedly to anyone, Buy any big dollar items with a credit card. NOt only did he make himself look bad by his behavior, He has hurt his own buisness because of the bad Word-of Mouth i give that company anytime anyone asks about my husbands new scooter. Well actually not new its 2 and a half years running strong. ITs a HONda ruckus.1600.00 worth every penny. already has 8000 miles on it.So when people ask, which they do alot I say DO NOT GO TO SUPER SCOOTER!!!!!!!HAd this man conducted himself better i would have suggested to everyone to go there. Remember.....Good news travels fast, bad news travels faster!

DON'T GO TO THE "SUPER SCOOTER SHOP!!!" Why? I was first interested in a scooter to save on gas, and also to have some fun driving a bike. I went to the Stupid Scooter Shop and found a scooter I was very interested in. I decided that day that I was going to get it. It was a little over the price of what I wanted to spend, so I talked the sales guy down a little bit. Deal! I went home happy, and had my scooter delivered that same day. I also go a very angry call from Mr. Bad A** Boss. He was very upset that I had bought a scooter from him. Apparently you can't make deals at his shop and he wanted me to pay the difference of the price I paid, and the actual price. Also according to the guy that sold the scooter to me "that was NOT the deal" Uhhh.... "Actually it WAS the deal, and I have it in writing." His response was "You had better straighten up that tone with my young man!" Thats just the start.... The first time I hopped on, the scooter hesitated to start. This happened a lot in the few days after I bought it. It also died a few times and there was a fuse that would blow repeatedly. I called the shop and they told me "that will happen in a lot in newer scooters, because there might be air in the gas line." Well okay, sounds plausible....wait, no it doesn't, if there WAS air in the gas line, it would work it's way out after a few runs. especially after a new tank of gas. I called them again and they said to bring it in, and since it was under warranty it wouldn't cost anything. Cool! Not really... Two weeks went by and I wanted my bike back! I called them up and I was told that it should be ready in two days. Well...It wasn't. Two months later.... I finally got the bike back, and the moment I started it up at the shop, the same exact thing happened. "Thats air in the gas line because I had to take it off." Suuuure. On my way home from the shop, the scooter died and a fuse blew. It started up, but I had no signals. The throttle handle was very loose and unsafe. I got home though and as I was taking off the panel to access the fuse box, I noticed some scratches on the sides of the scooter that were never there. At this point I'm pretty pissed. I took off the seat to get to the tool bag that came with the bike. I noticed that the bottom of the leather seat had been ripped and scratched to hell. Also a screw holding on a part of the plastic body was missing. Okay, now I'm really pissed. But wait! Where is my tool kit? Missing... I finally got to the fuse compartment and replaced the blown one, then I called the Super Sh*tty Shop. The boss was very rude when I talked to him. I asked if I could return the defective bike. "No, but you can bring it in and we'll get it fixed." Yeah..Right... So thats where the bike is now, sitting in their shop. My one year warranty is going to expire before it is "fixed". I am assuming that it will still be messed up, so I'll be forced to pay for a fix, at a different shop mind you. They lie to cover their own a**, and blame the customer for stealing. They are rude and will scam you out of your money and services. The owner is a complete a**hole when it comes to dealing with problems. The repair service is the slowest I've ever seen, and has no concern for the product they are working on resulting in broken and missing parts. They also don't fix the problem, and make things worse.
