I was contacted by phone on December 3rd or 4th with the promise of a credit card in the amount of $2000.00 for a processing fee of $299.00. Fro a single mother of three living off social security disability this sounded like a great offer. Especially when Laura #3676 told me that I could take a cash advance on the card to put the money back in the bank.

They debited my account twice (December 9th and 12th). I discovered this on December 15th. I have since been in contact with this company at least once a week. They have made many promises to me including giving me Fedex tracking numbers (which they still have not done). Every time I talk with them They put me off another week. Today, January 21, 2004 they put me off again until the first week of February.

This company has not only taken $598.00 of well needed money they have caused my bank to take nearly all of my January social security, my bank closed my account, my water and dish were disconnected, and I've gotten evicted out of my home. Does this company care what they have done to me (and others from what I have read)? NO!

This company says they will refung peoples money but every time I try to get ANYHTING back I get excuses and get put off even longer. What about all the other expenses I've incurred because of them? Are they going to pay the fees I've been charged? Are they going to pay the late fees for the bills I've not been able to pay? What about the checks that have been sent back unpaid?

What makes this even worse is the fact that I have to wait almost an additional 2 weeks to get my social security because my bank closed my account over this. How will I feed my children and put diapers on my 2yr old now? Can they tell me that?!?

I was called at the middle of december with this wonderfull offer for a credit card with an offer of $2000, for a onetime fee of $299. I thought it would help me rebuild my credit. So I paid the $299 on January 6, 2004, and was told 15-20 days after the payment was taken I would recieve my credit card through fed ex. Well it's now been a month, they tell me there has been a delay in the shipping. Well I feel ripped off so I investegate and find out I was. I am very upset and being so young and on my own, $299 is an amount I need. So I am hopefull I can get my refund and this company gets what it deserves, a big Lawsuit!!!

I did get a call today as ripoffreport promised. A gentleman by the name of Richard called me at my home this afternoon. I was more than displeased with the comversation.

At first he tried to call me a liar about being debited twice. After I persisted/insisted that it DID in fact happen he claimed to have found (in his computer) that I was right. He then proceeded to tell me it was MY fault that I was debited. That I HAD to have ordered twice.

As I explained to him I talked to his CSR that first time and did not talk to anyone else in his company again until I called after I discovered the second debit. He still called me a liar!

He finally agreed there was a problem somewhere and said that the check for the first debit was already sent to me. I explained to him it was not and he acted like I was lying once again. He said it was already sent 2 day air and it should be to me within 5 days. Now is it me or does that sound a little strange?

He still insisted that I am in fact getting an unsecured credit card but it does not come in the package for "security" reasons.
That I have to fill out and sign a form to get the card. I told him I don't want a bunch of "applications" for credit cards, I want the card I was promised to begin with.

That said and done at this point I was not promised a refund for the second debit from my account. As for all the fees and such I've incurred due to this, he wants me to e-mail that information to him so he can "investigate it furhter".

At this point I am still very dissatisfied as to how this company is handling this and to how I have been treated by these people!
