On the strength of the recommendation and advertisement of Hugh Hewit, a respected talk show host, I entered an online order with Superior Gold Group in the amount of $1,158.28 on Thursday, August 6, 2009. Called Superior Gold Friday, August 7, 2009 around 7:00 PM EST (4:00 PM PST) because I had a question about my order. Got transferred back and forth several times between the trading floor and the sales rep department.

I finally got to speak to Rick who said he couldn't help me because he had to reboot his computer and would call me back in 30 minutes. When Rick didn't return my call, I called again and got Cory Catellis. Cory said she would look up my account and get back to me. Cory returned my call around 7:30 EST and I said to cancel my order. Cory said she could not cancel my order and I should call back Monday, August 10th.

Called today, August 10th, at 12:07 PM to cancel my order. Spoke to Larrin Deveraux, General Manager. Mr. Deveraux said he would confirm the order cancellation via email. I never got an email. Larrin went on to say that online orders must be in the amount of $1,500 and sometimes their computer system has a glitch in it and allows lesser amount orders to go through. Larrin said no charge would be made to me.

I just now checked my credit card balance and I was charged the $1,158.28.

After several attempts I successfully reached Larrin Deveraux. He said it was the credit card company that was at fault for charging me, not Superior Gold because my order was cancelled. Mr. Deveraux gave me a credit reference number for my cancellation and said he would follow up with an email. He never emailed me.

In the meantime, I called my credit card company and was told it was Superior Gold who authorized the charge. I disputed the charge and the credit card company informed me I had nothing to worry about. I was not responsible for the charge.

I read the account of this poster named "Lois" and have completed some research on Superior Gold Group on my own.  I found some interesting facts:

1.  The company has been in business for over 10 years.

2.  The company advertises regularly on television stations such as Fox News, Fox Business News, The Glenn Beck Show, MSNBC, CNBC, The Military Network and independently endorsed by Kiplinger Magazine. 

3. The company has sales that are in the millions annually.

4.  The client says that her order of $1158.28 was returned in the original report. Thats right her money was returned and paid in full after 4 days.

5.  Superior Gold Group has a policy of a minimum order of $1500 and her order was less than that.  

Let's do the math: "Lois" an anonymous poster, says that a multi million dollar company refunded the money she requested to be refunded and it took 4 days for it to show on your report and She wrote a RipOffReport about it.  It is because of liberals like you that will write anything on the internet to support your  Barak the Messiah Obama, that this country is in the tailspin it is in!  That's right, this report occured during the same time that liberal bloggers attacked Superior Gold Group for their advertising support of Glen Beck and Fox News.  Google:  "Glenn Beck + Superior Gold Group".

To the "Lois" poster I have one question, where is the RipOff?  You asked for a refund and received a refund?  Your order according to your own report was placed on August 6th and you received a refund on August 10th.  Where is the Rip Off?

I have called the Superior Gold Group and received a free portfolio analysis and they were very kind. I did not do business with them, because I chose to invest in Forex Currency, but learned a lot about the possibility of gold investing from

I'm have nothing to do with this company but I just wonder why you are complaining. You got your money back. So, you had to make a couple of phone calls. These people are only human. This is life.
