<< Crossposting, in and of itself, is not against our Terms of Service

(http://www.supernews.com/terms_indi.html). Excessive crossposting(posting to large numbers of groups at once), on the other hand, or crossposting to groups that are completely off-topic, is against our

Terms of Service, and can cause you to lose your posting privileges. >> This is not what I was told when my posting privileges were revoked. Not only that, but I probably posted ONE SINGLE MESSAGE to 10 groups or less; my post was ON-topic to all groups and something that might have been of interest to them all!!! And this was also the only time I have ever

cross-posted ANYTHING!!!

<< When you subscribe to our service, you are paying for the ability to download, not download. Posting/uploading is, and has always been, free. Chances are that if you sign up for an account with us now, you

will have full posting privileges. >>

This is the same run-around I got before. When my service was denied and I insisted on a refund I was told that I was not entitled since I was getting downloads and that posting was free anyway. This is very bad customer

relations because it is EXTREMELY OBVIOUS THAT PEOPLE SUBSCRIBE TO A NEWS SERVICE TO BOTH DOWNLOAD AND UPLOAD.

Therefore, I also do not understand why you are think I would have full posting privileges if I signed up now.

You said, "Chances are..." Why should I take a "chance"? Is this company so crooked that you cannot guarantee what I pay for. (Yes, I know you think

that I pay for downloads, but that's not what *I'M* paying for!)

<< Also, just for your information, if your posting privileges have been suspended, you would need to contact our Abuse department, because we (Support) do not have the ability reinstate posting privileges. >>

This is what your company did to me before -- passed the buck. If I am willing to do business with you, then I would think that you would be willing to make it easy for me so that you could retain my business; but

obviously you do not give a d**n about anyone's business.

First off, I found it almost impossible to get any helpful feedback from your Abuse Department, and secondly, they never did guarantee a reinstatement of posting privileges. On top of that, the Billing Department refused to refund the money they stole from me: they cut off my posting privileges, but kept my monthly subscription fee.

<< I hope that answers your questions. Feel free to contact us if you require any further assistance. >>

I received quite horrendous service from SuperNews in the past. If some supervisor or someone else with equal or higher authority offered to let me

use the service for several months, free of charge, till I was assured that you would let me BOTH post and read -- until I was assured you would not

play any games with me about how you only charge for downloading and not

uploading -- then I *might* be convinced to try SuperNews again.

Since it seems that this company is still run by crooks, however, I will continue spreading the word on the net, among friends, and wherever the topic is relevant, that SuperNews is DEFINITELY NOT the news service to use!

Please let me know if SuperNews intends to make any personal efforts to convince me that it is anything but a corrupt operation and should not be given the worst possible word of mouth.
