Susan Thomas Fred Thomas Craigslist Scam San Antonio, Texas
I was looking for a job on Craigslist and found a job for Personal Assistant. I contacted the person about the job details. The next day I was contacted by a Susan Thomas that she needed a personal assistant to help her with her Non-Governmental Organization with details about what I would be doing. She said I could do every assignment from home and had to respond to emails ASAP and for each assignment I would receive $200. She then sent me a money order for $985 dollars from Albertsons to take out my amount of $200(payment for each assignment) and $30 for gas and send the rest to a Linda Boykin in Plesanton, Tx. I was suspicious of why would I send money to another person for Wheelchairs via Western Union. So I did the best thing ever, I googled her name and address. The address is some school district and her name came up in a link for ripoff report. I was shocked at how similar the story was to mine. So then I called Moneygram and they said the money order had been cashed for $13 on December 7th. I just emailed her to she if I could get a phone number to contact her. Now I'm waiting for a response. So if a Susan Thomas contacts you, ignore it because its probably a scam!!!
