Sweepstakes Clearinghouse victimized many consumers Dallas Texas
Today I received a credit voucher for "Exactly four hundred dollars and 00 cents" from Sweepstakes clearinghouse. I started to look through the products that I could purchase with the voucher, and I noticed that, although the voucher says anything over $440.00, the lowest priced item was, according to them, $469.95.
I decided to take a closer look at the products they were offering. I couldn't find The RCA Home Stereo System with Surround Sound at the RCA website. The Xavier Masterpiece watches were listed at a website regarding the Sweepstakes Clearinghouse scam. The IBM computer that they offer might have been worth $779.95 three years ago. The system only has a 3.2 gb hard drive (most now have about 20+ gb hard drives), 64 mb sdram (most now exceed 200mg ram in a better quality than sd), and a pentium II processor (now the average is a pentium III or IV). And the thinkpad has worse stats than that.
This is not worth the time, money, or effort to do. I'm just lucky that I caught on before I tried to buy the computer.
