I bought a computer system through them through a promotoinal offer and a $300.00 off voucher. I paid them a total of $562.12.

A lot of people have told me my computer system is cheap and that I could have bought the same system for less than $400.00 at any computer dealer.

I was sent a Canon S 200 color bubble jet printer with this system. Well the printer I can't even use because it isn't compatible with windows 95 and that is the CD they sent with the system. I bought a windows 98 CD for $89.00 only to find out after I wasted my money that it is not compatible with my computer. So I have a printer that I can't even use. Which makes the system even more worthless.

I did not receive all the software programs they promised in the offer, and they also said I would have access to technical support for my computer and printer but made no mention that you have to subscribe to it and pay a fee for the use of it.

The computer sytem and printer are so out of date that I can't find compatible software for it. I found one place in my area that still sells the ink jet cartridges for the printer, but yet I can't even use it.

I am so upset and frustrated with this whole situation. I have never had a computer before and I learned this all the hard way.

I feel like I was ripped off and taken advantage of. I feel that I wasted my money on nothing but a bunch of empty promises. The promotional offer came in my husbands name but I am the one who used it and purchased the computer sytem.

I have already sent an E-mail to Allied marketing about this.

To whom it may concern. First of all I am a customer of this company and before I went into my 4:00 AM shift today you nasty people got me reading reports on this company. I will have all of you know that I waited until after work and called their toll free number and spoke to one of their phone operators and I will be receiving the IBM ThinkPad that I have ordered. I used the $400.00 voucher and charged the rest. Now I will let all of you know and just bug off of them. They are not a rip off. Also you can not get a better deal then that. None of you can prove anything. That guy who said he got a cheap printer was making up that story. Why didn't he return it or call up the company. So you stop making up stories about them. Be a man and why don't he call them at 1-800-443-1284 and tell them you are sorry because you are ruining their business making up bad stories about them. I will deal with $weepstakes Clearing House over and over again. Now for those of you that are ignorant. Just shut the hell up!!!

On April 16,2002 I received a phone call from Allied Marketing. The lady I spoke to Said they were going to check my order and get back to me,the same day. She said I should have gotten all the software that was supposed to come with it,but I didn't and she said that the printer should work with the hardware that was sent but it doesn't. A Canon dealer even told me that my printer would not work with windows 95 and that I would have to upgrade to windows 98. Well Allied Marketing never got back to me. And I am at the point now that if they do not resolve this matter by the end of the month I am reporting them to the Attorney General's Office. Because I paid for certain services and I expect certain services and I am not going to allow them to scam me.
