Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Today, many trucking companies utillize baited questions and do not record the baited question, but try to capture the answer or response you make over the telephone and entrap the recorded answer to use against owner operator. Many trucking companies intentionally try to sabatoge the economic capacity of the owner operator in an effort to force them to sign over their truck. The closer you are to payoff the more the want to take your truck from you. What that does is one buys then an free truck, two forces the owner operator into slave labor with little or no real pay, three, can cause the owner to feel guilty and force them to work as an company employee for little or no income at slave labor to repay bad debt. They claim to rescue you and give you your job back. But ,really it is their intentions to drive you out of business and to get slave labor from you and at the same time get free equipment from you or to take your truck. Also, they try to put the lowest paying freight on you and do not get you the miles. Many companies also falsify dac usis reports or company dac reports and keep secret records (false trials, false crimes, false information,) in an effort to force you into slavery. Do not let the trucking company you are contracted to take your truck from you if you are an owner operator.

Mr. Conspiracy Theory, First of all, just owning your equipment DOES NOT make you an "owner operator". Calling your own shots while working under your own operating authority makes you an owner operator. Now, as a genuine owner operator, you will never have to haul cheap freight or take BS from anyone. However, When you CHOOSE to take your equipment and lease it on to someone else's authority, they LEGALLY control your equipment. In a sense, they own you. Too many people cannot comprehend this simple concept. Your only option now is to go to the FMCSA and have your lease contract reveiwed, and hopefully they will declare it illegal. Then you can sue whatever company ripped you off.
