Syncrony Bank GE Capital DONT even bother using them or their stupid store cards shady.... Nationwide
I have been a long time customer to GE capitol bank and never had a issue until they changed their names or whatever they did. I had a total of 7 accounts with this bank. Make charges and pay them off on a regular basis and have NEVER been late on ANY payment on my credit history. I started getting letting stating they have closed my account on one card and they state they are doing it on changes to my credit history which shocks my to death. no other reason was given but that i explained to them i have 7 accounts with you and i have never missed payments on any account i have. Being all the credit limits are low becaue i never had a credit card up until 2 years ago becasue i never needed one. my wife and i combined make over 180k a year and if we wants something we buy it. that worked out fine until we wanted to buy a house. and never having a car loan or a credit card i had no credit at all what so ever. so i was instructed to get a credit card which i got a secured card for 3k and started getting store cards when i went to stores.
This went good and i havent had them for a year yet I buy things and pay it off some storess i dont use much becaue how much does one need from old navy. and with limits of 300-500 per card and a disposible income of 10k a month i really dont need them to buy anything. But doing what i have to do to be able to buy this house my wife wants i decided to get the cards. I should have NEVER done it. If you use your card and pay it off they will cancel your card becaue they arent making money off of you and dont really care and will give you a BS excuse why they dont it and the sad part it is legal. And when they close your acount it changes your credit and messes with you debt utilization. scores. which i got these to help my credit but it has hurt it and not helped it one bit. from the drop you take when applying and then when they close it it has actually made my score worse. This company and who ever made these rules are idiots. I have paid all the accounts off and cancelled each and everyone of them. not wrth the hastel or wondering if your card will work or not work when you need it back to good ole cash for me! Screw you keep making your customers madd and you will be going out of business just like tons of banks before you. If you cant look at a persons credit and say hey they make all their payments on time every month pay off large amounts each month that are due never pay the minimue payment ..humm these people are doing what they are spouse to be doing?? Have fun ripping off people that actually pay their bills on time and keep the ones that dont ...BUYER BEWARE pay attention to all the complaints dont uses these jokers and just use a regular card. Better rates and you can use it anywhere you like! NEVER AGAIN
