I called corp in Bellevue and asked for Robert Dotson's office (President). I was asked what it was in regard to and was immediately transferred to an executive response person - who was nice but claimed that the late fees were not in response to the not paying the number change fee but for not paying (disputed) text messaging charges. (I constantly get spam text messages and have asked for the feature to be blocked but they claim that it cannot be done - which is not true - I worked for AT&T Wireless for years and it can be facilitated easily) She was polite and (somewhat) helpful but I'm still counting down the days until my contract is up.

I've had every cell provider in the nation and I guarantee you that if you had VerizonWireless or Sprint that they would not have offered you the courtesy waivers of the phone # change fees...T-Mobile isn't perfect but it's head and shoulders above the other carriers and their plans are more affordable. Yes, it's a hassle but I wouldn't make a big deal over it...they were nice enough to waive the one fee.
