Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
1) I signed on for T-mobile service when i was working in New York, I bought a Black Berry Pearl that cost around $350 that was supposed to have a rebate, but the rebate never came in after i sent off the paperwork, I finally got a letter a few weeks later saying that the rebate paperwork that the store employee gave me was expired, when i went back to the store and showed them the original rebate paperwork that they gave me that was expired they told me that they were sorry, but the rebate promotion was over. Never received the rebate.

2) Blackberry curve started having issues with the sound turning off two weeks into owning the phone, phone was replaced 3 times. I relocated to Florida for work, phone was replaced at LEAST 2 more times for various issues, one was the keypad not working anymore, another issue, don't remember exactly what.

3) Hot spot @ home feature came out, I went to the local store and ask about the feature, they said that my phone was not compatible (pearl) and that i would have to open up a NEW line of service (family plan) in order to get a hotspot @ home phone. I didn't understand why, but agreed, that opened up a NEW 2 year contract on a NEW line. They sold me a samsung that was compatible with the hostpot @ home feature, phone would NOT work as advertised, dropped calls, not connecting to the hotspot feature, returned it, got a nokia, SAME issue, returned it got a samsung, SAME issue. Finally gave up.

4) Blackberry Curve becomes available on T-mobile I purchase it, it comes in and the hotspot @ home feature STILL doesn't work. I spend hours talking to customer service, in the advertisements it states that the hotspot feature is compatible with ALL wireless routers, Reps @ t-mobile saying that i have to have a t-mobile branded router for some reason. I go to the local T-mobile store and purchase a T-mobile router. STILL DOESN'T WORK.

5) Blackberry Curve stops getting a signal from the tower @ my house and @ my job. The only place I can use the phone now is in the car, driving around town, or whenever i go ANYWHERE but my house and work. I contact customer service AND go down to the T-mobile store, both venues tell me that there are NO issues in my area and that I need a new phone. AGAIN.

6) I contact T-mobile for a replacement Blackberry Curve. They tell me they have to charge shipping on it, they have NEVER charged shipping for the last 5-7 blackberry/samsung/nokia replacements. After 2 hours on the phone they say that they'll knock off 10$ off my account for 'service interruption' and that would cover shipping.

7) receive my replacement Curve on 11/20/07. Use the Blackberry device manager to transfer my contacts/emails/work information to the replacement Curve. Wipe out the old handset to ship it back to T-mobile. Wake up late to work, realize alarm on new phone didn't go off, take a look and the phone is turning off and on and off and on constantly. Call T-mobile, they troubleshoot me for 30 minutes, transfer me to Blackberry support, I'm on hold for 45 minutes, Rep finally answers, goes through a few steps, says that the phone OS is broken and that the phone will need to be replaced AGAIN.

8) Contact T-mobile, they want to troubleshoot again, i ask them to look at the notes on the account to see troubleshooting has been done, they agree, say I need a new phone. I tell them that I want to cancel my service, they're sending me one lemon after another, this time resulting in the loss of ALL my business contacts/emails/data. Get transferred to the Cancellation department, they apologize for 10 minutes, I tell them the service is NOT working as it should, the phones are NOT working as they should, after over a year of exchanging one handset for another with no resolution or end in sight I want to cancel the service. They tell me that it will cost $200 per line, I ask why, they explain the second line for the hotspot feature. I get a clarification and realize that Rep at the store LIED to me, i did NOT need a second line to use the hotspot feature, he just sold it to me and bound me into the contract fraudulently. I explain that to them and they say "we're so sorry that happenned!" and insist on charging $400 to cancel my service.

5) to sum up - never received original rebate, given wrong paperwork at the store, lied to at the store and coaxed into purchasing a 2nd line that i've NEVER used. NEVER. maybe 5 minutes total while trying to get the useless hotspot feature to work. over... 7 lemon phones, including the one I have right now that won't even turn on. And after all that asking for $400 to cancel a line that has a BROKEN phone on it that they obviously can't replace with a working one and a second line that i've never used and got suckered into buying.
