tmobile is the worst company to deal with. I didnt sign a contract with them. I told them i would be canceling my account 4 days before my cycle ended. At that point i had used 700 out of 1000 minutes, i called cingular the next day to sign up for servive. That day i spent about an hour on the phone with cingular. I checke dmy minutes that night and i was right at 1000 ! i am a guy and i dont spend much time on the phone, tmobile trie dto rip me off, but i wil dispute the charge with my credit card company when the bill arrives. To all the tmobile workers good luck finding a job in 2 years when cingular/nextel/sprint take all your customers. To the future t mobile customers caveat emptor.

to the employee who responds to this, do your computers have a button you press when you want to overcharge a customer that is leaving?

I agree with the response above in that people must read their contract. Also, I am a customer of Tmobile and have been for the past 7 years, and yes I have had a little bit of problems with them, but they found ways to make it up, and make me happy. That is why I have continued my service with them for so long. I also have a contract with Sprint and with those two companies compared Tmobile is the best. I wish people would stop complaining about every little thing. Everything cannot be perfect.

Just a question.... How did you get a phone and start service with T-Mobile and not sign a contract

Just curious...How did you get a phone and start service with T-Mobile and not sign a contract? Unless you are getting a pre-paid phone it just isn't done, no way, no how! No dealer will give you a phone with out one, no online indirect dealer will give you a phone with out one, and our website/sales line won't give you one...So, how did you manage to do it? Anyway, that is not my point here. The minute usage either through #646#, the website, or our IVR is delayed...Usually by about one or two hours if not longer depending on when the network last updated the billing system. That's why all the notifications say 'As of XX:XXpm on Friday April 1, 2005 you have used XXX minutes.' Beyond that, the records may be incomplete. Nothing is definate or set in stone until your cycle ends and the bill is printed. It states so in your contract. Now, keeping that and the fact that you were on the phone with Cingular for an extended period of time, is it really a surprise that you came close to your minutes? A general rant though based off of this 'report' WHY oh WHY do customers NEVER read their contract alll the way through? Let me tell you people, there are alot of important facts that you will find with in, and if you read them, most of these problems would not occur. We as a service provider are not here to babysit you, or make sure that you don't go over your minutes, or even say, "Now Brandon, did you read your entire contract and understand what you are agreeing to before starting service?" That's not our job. Our job is to provide you with the means to talk to other's via a mobile telecommunications device. Personally, more than once I've pissed off a sales rep somewhere because I read ALL the fine print before I sign a thing! It's a good practice people, try it some time... Oh, and about finding a new job when cingular/nextel/sprint takes our customers...If that was going to be the case, why were we the first cell phone provider to ever bring home 4 JD Powers awards? Why are we the number two cell phone company in the nation? Even Cingular and their merge with AT&T can't compete with us. We aren't going anywhere. I'm sorry to hear that you had a bad experiance, but keep in mind that you are going to have bad apples every where you go, and unfortuantly in a company as large as cell providers, it's impossible to weed them all out. Personally, I'd say - Be very glad that when you call that you aren't going over to India or Europe, since we don't outsource overseas at all. It's more than a lot of companies can say now-a-days!
