i would also like to add thay everyone's account is different as far as when and if the account is suspended for not receiving a payment... our system keeps track of when payments are made and how often they are paid late, or only partially paid... accounts that tend to have late payments or only partial payments leaving a past due balance on the account are more likely to trigger the system to do a suspend, either partial or full, a lot sooner than someone who has always paid the bill on or before the due date who maybe is late or misses a payment... i don't know what your payment history looks like for sure, so don't get me wrong i'm not saying this is for sure the reason why u r shut off after 3 days. but keep in mind it is not done by a rep, which most of you think, and also b/c each account is different there is no way for us to tell u when it will suspend once it is past due... all i can say is the timeline will become shorter the more times you go into past due status. so the best way to keep your service on is to pay before due date, and if not able to, contact our financial care dept on your due date to set up a payment plan, and this way you won't be suspended

FCC regulations that T-Mobile strictly follows includes verifying that the customer is the Billing Name on the account or an authorized user set up only by the Billing Name party. This also includes verifying the last 4 of the social security number. In no way just having a phone that is associated with the account will auto authorize the user. This is a scary thought for anyone that had their phone stolen, so rest your mind for those who read this article. It's far from true and I'm beyond surprised that this was something told to this individual. T-Mobile does have indirect dealers that sell T-Mobile including other carriers. If anything shady like this happens to the account please report this immediatly to T-Mobile. we do have a large fraud team dealing with many different types of fraud including dealer fraud so it's extremely important to get this feedback so this doesn't happen in the future.
