Tailor Made Swimming Pools, Poolpeople USA Builder, Richard Bradford AKA Safeway Quality Pools, RIPOFF of $25,000 deposit and still no pool - consumer fraud Atlanta, Georgia
On September 20, 2002 we contracted with Tailor Made Pools to put a Pool on the roof of our condo project. Mr. Bradford required a deposit of $25,000 which was supposed to go to the pool manufacturer which we found out he only sent $13,500.
While we waited for our pool drawing to be delivered Mr. Bradford did not respond to our numerous phone calls requesting the drawing so we could move forward. We then found out that he had requested the $13,500 back from the manufactured stating to them that we had cancelled the contract. WE DID NOT CANCEL THE CONTRACT.
After sending a demand letter to Mr. Bradford to return the $25,000 we still received no response. We then filed a Theft by Taking Warrant to which Mr. Bradford was arrested while in jail already on unrelated charges to which he has since bonded out and apparently has started building pools agfain under another name. Furthermore, Mr. Bradford's estimates on the cost of the pool was serverly lacking and were completley off as well as not having all the approvals from the County Health Dept.
Subsequently it is now costing us Thousands and Thousands of dollars to work through the pool issues and we still have not been able to install the pool on the roof.
