Hired Tax Incorporated to File 2000,01,02, Tax Forms....

That was done quickly, and Professionally by Varsha Patel.... The Filing reduced my potential liability.

Once the IRS Acknowledged the Filings is when the trouble started. My "Strategist" Vahan Hart then was directed by my E-mail to Negotiate the amount due to the IRS to a Minimum.....that E-mail was directed to Ms. Julie Chung as Mr. Hart was not returning my phone calls, and she is "The Attorney Of Record" and I would pay it A.S.A.P.

Instead.... I received a Notice From IRS on 02/27/2006 telling me that I had been entered into a Payment Arrangement, and the First Payment Was Due : 02/29/2006 Needless to say my express direction was ignored, further there was no consultation with me to explore that this proposed payment plan was acceptable, and now my '05 Filing will erase the IRS shortfall...

I have gotten my "Ducks In A Row" and I am prepared to go To War and Shut This Malpractice Down Once and For All....

I'm going to explore getting all Professional Licences of All Primaries Of the Company Censured For Unethical Conduct. I will be Filing Complaints With The Michigan Attorney General's Office, And The Attorney General Of The State Of California. And Talking To The US Attorney About Wire Fraud...

Tommorow I'm Calling CEO Of Google.com as they are this Company's biggest refferal feeder because they are a Paid Advertizer Google .com has a ethic "Do No Evil" hopefully that will make Google.com not so interested in their money.

In addition I will be filing a Civil Suit In The State Of Michigan, Against All Primaries Of the Company. Our Consumer Protection Laws are Very Tough, and I will Easily Win as Most Jury Members are Sick Of Unethical Conduct Such As This.

When I first checked them out The BBB of Los Angeles also showed them as fairly reputable.

BBB-LA has since changed it's tune.

This is Excerpted from BBB-LA :

"Typically these companies advertise that they can settle tax related debts for less than the amount owed. Many represent that they have attorneys or certified public accountants on staff that will work on your behalf to resolve your tax issues.

In some cases, the company will calculate what they believe will be the amount you save by utilizing their services. Generally the fee they charge will be based on the projected savings, while others charge a flat rate of several thousand dollars. Our complaint experience on many of these firms indicates that they exaggerate their ability and expertise in effecting settlements and often promise much more than they can deliver. They generally attribute their inability to obtain settlements on the fact that the customer provided inaccurate or incomplete information. None of the firms guarantee that anyone will be able to obtain a settlement of their tax debt.

We urge caution. Many taxpayers have been left with the original tax debt, along with additional interest and penalties.

If you have tax debt with the IRS, we suggest you first seek the advice of an IRS enrolled agent, CPA, or a tax attorney. You may also consult with the IRS to determine if you would qualify to file for an offer in compromise, or some other type of payment arrangement. To learn about the IRS's rules for an offer in compromise, visit www.irs.gov.

Our complaint history for this company shows the company gave proper consideration to some complaints presented by the Bureau.

However, the company failed to respond to one complaint.

Complainants generally allege that the company does not return telephone messages or that compromise offers or settlements are denied, improper, or not filed with the tax authority. In some cases, the customer's wages or accounts were levied as a result. A few customers chose to directly pursue their cases with the IRS themselves and requested refunds.

The company generally responds by stating that decisions are up to the tax authority, that the offers are denied through no fault of their own, stating the complainants failed to meet their obligation and produce documents, file taxes, or substantiate information as required by the IRS and that they performed according to their agreement and provided call logs to substantiate services rendered. In some cases, they indicated they would resubmit or submit the offer as requested. In other cases, they claim that the customer failed to provide the requested information to the tax authority that resulted in the rejection. In a some cases, the company issues a full or partial refunds.

This company advertises on their website that they can negotiate taxes for pennies on the dollar. We believe that this statement is overly broad and that only the tax authority has the power to enter into agreements to eliminate taxes, penalties, or stop collections despite any promises to the contrary.

We wrote the company on September 21, 2005, requesting that they modify their advertising or substantiate it. In addition, we asked the company to provide us with contact information for their "Success Stories" so that we may verify the statements contained on the company's website. The company failed to reply to our request to substantiate their advertising or to modify it. Nor did the company provide us with contact information for their "Success Stories."

To all of our valued clients, and to those considering;

Hiring a tax relief firm to settle your tax debt is one of the most important financial considerations of peoples lives. You need to be assured that the firm you hire will live up to your expectations and provide reliable support and outstanding results. The Ripoff Report (ROR) has been a popular, reflexive research tool for many consumers as it promises to bring clarity to the sometimes foggy hiring process by illuminating both bad service and poor results. The ROR has the potential to be a terrific, impartial forum to base decisions off of. Its shortcomings, however, are very important to consider.

In the nine years Tax Inc. has been in business, we have received roughly 30 anonymous statements on the RORs website. Some of these statements I'm sure are valid, while others seem to be less so. The problem is, the complaints are all anonymous. There is no verification process from the ROR to validate the source of the complaint and no feasible way for our firm to mediate the issue. The ROR is simply an open forum allowing anyone to post derogatory statements on our company with complete uncertainty that those statements are accurate or truthful. This contradicts the RORs ultimate agenda: to help consumers make impartial, informed hiring decisions. If the statements were verified, and mediation sought, it would better highlight the steps our company has taken to successfully manage complaints and allow for stronger decision making. It does not.

Though we strive to avoid complaints altogether, the unfortunate reality is that, as in any healthy company, complaints will invariably arise. This can be for a variety of reasons, and as we enter our tenth year of doing business and our 20,000th client, we've tried to isolate the causes and repair any inconsistencies within our organization that may have been a contributing factor. The complaints generally fall into one of several categories:

    Not returning phone calls promptly
    Poor handling of account
    Errors on paperwork
Unhappy with outcome of the case

Admittedly there have been valid instances where we have not serviced the client to the standards we expect, and where appropriate have made every attempt to reconcile the mistake or oversight. But failures, fortunately, do have their importance. They allow us to better understand the service process within our firm and tighten the screws, thereby strengthening our approach to customer service.

On a final note, I have provided a few of the standout accomplishments this firm has achieved in the nine years since we first opened our doors. Im hopeful one day the ROR will provide a section for this alongside the disputes:

To date, our approval rating is greater than 99%. Thats better than GM, Apple
      or H&R Block, combined.
The odds of having a poor experience with our firm are less than 1%.
We generate 30% of our business through referral. Happy clients happily promote.
We pioneered a proprietary information management system to expedite form
drafting and increase resolution response by 80%. We know of no other company to
provide this type of cutting-edge technology, and have been approached to license
     the software numerous times.
We provide pro-bono work for the elderly and economically hardshipped.

We get letters from satisfied clients every month, and proudly post them in the office and list them as success stories on our website for inspiration. We hope to someday count yours among them.

Sincerely,

Josh Silver, CEO
Tax Inc.
