Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I was on the internet to register a hotmail.com account (as my Incredimal stopped working via Comcas.net)  No sooner as I was typing my request when a white box popped up in the right hand corner of my screen.  It identified a Microsoft Alert and that my computer had been comprimised (a short version of the message on my part).

At this point beware, shut off your computer if possible.

In the background an other pop up directed me to call a certain number, which only works when your compter has the alert, it said I had 5 minutes to select the stay on button or my hard drive would be eraxed.  Avoice repeaded the message repeatedly  I wished I had taken a screen shot.

A few minutes later an alert sound came on and I could not close down the web page.  So I called the number and talked to someone, by this time I was in panic mode and did not remember the persons name re;lied saying a had the Zuse virus, usually installed while on the internet.

I was switched over to a technition first by the name Ethan, then  turned over to Nathan. He said my network was hacked when on the internet.  Everything else on my computer was fine. I ask how much is this going to cost me...there were 3 options. I said how was I expected to pay, could I use my Banks Bill Pay, or Pay Pal.  He said no only a credet card was acceptalbe.

I said I do not want to put my card information at all.  Nathan then said we wont be able to see the numbers of your card or your password.  Also you wont even have to enter your 3 numbers on the back of the card., which made me think this migh be legit.  He then ask me which option I wanted, all this time the message is repeating making it difficult to hear him, i was able to bargen for the 5 year support, Number 1 was 1 year, 2 was3 years and 3. was 5 years for the price of 249.99 which was the 3 year price.

He gave me his number when I told him I was not really interested, he said he would send me a warrentee of the support. No matter what I said didn't matter. In the end a bought the service however I used a debit card....not a credit card. I went into the Bank and ask for a new credit card which the issued me right away.

I recieved a call from my bank and they were worried that this was a scam and prited out the information of the company, which was Techzone247 INC, date, 7-18-2016.  The Baml said I should have and eventually did get in touch with Xfinity to see if they could help to determine if this was a scam. When they heard the information they said it was a scam, however they would not send an email to me so that I could show my Bank that it was a scam.  In the end talking to Jerimie he gave me a web site to see if the number of the information was listed.  I knew it would not be as I tried the number before calling and it said it was not in service.

The list titled "Pop Up Support Scam" followed by the number 841-617-2525  and the information was  exactly what I experienced. Thanks to Ent Federal Credit Union, for supporting and alerting their members.

As I read some of the reports they were the samething I went through.  Microsoft information that was mentioned fit the first Pop up.  and the second report was very much the same as mine.

There is some legetiment information, because there is a company with the same name, citiy and state.
