Jay Servidio of Teleteria Inc. defrauded us for over $2400.00 with a scam that he calls a turnkey business opportunity. He built us a website that we later found to be very similar to alot of other websites he had also built. When we later tried to change the website we were put off for weeks and recieved no service from them what so ever. The list of the top 500 websites for us to link to that was supposed to be included in our package cantained a list of mostly broken links and did not even work properly with internet explorer browser. This is a breach of our agreement and we feel that it would entitle us to a refund. The website Teleteria built for us also included a members area that was supposed to contain over 100,000 movies and photos, this members area did not even contain 10,000 movies and photos. This would also be a breach of our agreement and entitle us to a refund. We got down to the time it was for us to make a final payment for the package we purchased from Teleteria and we decided to with hold payment until the changes to our website were made and the promises of Teleteria were completed. Jay Servidio then threatened to turn off our website in one day if we do not make the final payment. His explanation for it taking over three weeks to make changes to our website was that he is very busy and under staffed. When we asked him why that now has to be our problem he was actually speachless and could not come up with a response. We went through the mediation process with the Better Business Bureau and it ended up as unresolved with Jay Servidio of Teleteria Inc. lying about the facts we have presented that would be very easy to fact check. At one point during our experience with Teleteria, Jay Servidio must have been desperate for money because he sent an offer to pay off our account early with a slight discount, however the invoice he sent was incorrect and was missing a payment that we had made weeks before. We pointed this mistake out and there was not an offer of a discount anymore. This scam also had a couple of hidden costs that Teleteria did not disclose before the purchase. He says that updates are included with your monthly hosting, but later tries to charge you $2 per link to be posted on your website. He also fails to mention until after the package is purchased that there is a $250 hookup fee with a third party billing company. When my partner tried to get straight answers out of him he simply threatened to turn off our website for a week and told him not to communicate with him any longer. We are very unhappy with Jay Servidio and Teleteria Inc. and do not recommend that anyone have anything to do with them.
