Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I own a boutique & alteration shop. One Saturday afternoon I received a call from a woman name Terre. She told me that she found me on line that I have lots good reviews about my worked and she would like me to help her about her situation. She is a bridal shop owner and her customer will get married that coming Saturday.

The problem was her seamstress ruined the bride's gown that she want to know if I can alter her new replacement gown (the 3rd gowns) when it arrive that following Tuesday (meaning 4 days before the wedding)

I asked her if I could see the damaged gown if there is anything that I can do to save it instead of waiting for Tuesday and she agreed.

The following emails will tell the story to what happened next. The reason I am posting this as a rip-off report is I want the consumers to know that if they do business to this company have your gown alter somewhere else.

I can see the tress through the brides eyes, wonder and worries if she will have a gown to walk on the aisle knowing that, that was her second gown from this bridal shop both are ruined already.

What I dont understand from the owner of this shop is at the end instead of appreciating the service that I provided to her she is angry at me. I need to know why?

Please continue reading I dont used a fancy words I just said the way it is. I am removing all email addresses these are the actual emails exchange that we had.

 Hi Terri,

Update the gown is fine she is happy. I took the gown apart last night before I went home and put it together like the original and start over.

I also re do the bustle to a nicer softer look and she love it she love her gown now she have a big smile on her face. I also give her another kind of push up bra cups that fits the gowns bust line well.

The seamstress that worked on it before it seems like she was drunk or she was on drugs the good thing is she did not cut all the allowances. I dont understand why shed shorten at the waist and also shorten at the hem line. The length is about 1 shorter. I can drop only about 5/8but she was happy about the whole thing.

Right now, I will shorten the skirt a little at the ribcage just to smooth the line, drop the length and attach the beads she will come back tomorrow night to pick it up.

Everything is fine, she is happy she said a lot of good things about you and dont worry she will not give you a bad review. I hope you understand that it is a lot harder to correct any gowns when is damage by the previous seamstress.

The total cost for the alterations would be $380.00 but just give me 300.00 you can write me a check. I will contact you tomorrow night and sleep well. Sincerely,

Judith

 Hi Terrie,

These are the photos that I took of her last night she will come back today to pick it up on the way to GA. I did not finish the beading last night when she came in at 6PM I was half way done on the rhinestones. It was not bad to sew in the crystal because is only one way but the rhinestone is double stitches to flatten it I finished it last night.

At this moment I am just waiting for her to pick up. She is very happy that she has her gown the she wanted it should look.

 Keep in touch,

Judith

Thank you so much Judith!!

I will mail the check in the amount of $300 today! ps Did you have time to press the gown. . .let me know what the xtra charges are for this. . I will be more than happy to pay for pressing. Will talk very soon

Thank you again!!!

Best, Terri

To Judith Subject: wedding wire review

The fake review that you wrote on my business is fraudulent and unprofessional. My reviews are excellent so the fake review that you wrote will stand out as exactly that. It will also be very clear to anyone with common sense that the review was obviously written by you the owner of Judith's Bridal Boutique and Alterations and NOT written by Terri Lynn Bridal bride.

Writing a fake and negative review to hurt my business while promoting your business is reprehensible. I'm shocked that you would engage in such business practices.

I don't mind getting a bad review. .. as hard as we try, not everyone is going to be happy or satisfied with our services and I welcome all feedback from my clients (good and bad) but I will not tolerate fake reviews written by other business owners.

I have contacted wedding wire to dispute this review. Fradulent and malicious misuse of their site is not tolerated. If you write another fake review that could potentially harm my business I will sue you for defamation.

RE: wedding wire review

Im Sorry about your review Terri. I went to the same thing somebody give me a bad review couple months back right after I met you. I disputed that too believe you me; I felt exactly what you are feeling right now. But I never think that you were the one that posted the bad review about me never because I am not that kind of person. My reviews are real I have payments records from these customers.

I dont like what you said about me. I dont have time to surf online specially this time this is my busy season. If you continue to think this way about me. I will post this email and all the emails that you sent me before to your weddingwire site yelp etc. I dont care about you or your business.

All your emails to me will explain to the public about the worked that I provided to your customer last April. I dont really know why you have that anger feelings towards me.

If you remember you called me first I never hear anything about you or read your name anywhere before that Saturday afternoon when you called me at the first time. I never seek to do business from you. You asked my help to solve your customer problem.
