Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

My family was in a car accident and hired an attorney who referred us to Texas Workers Rehab for our injuries.   Upon our first visit to this clinic, red flags started to fly. 707 Riverside Dr Fort Worth is NOT a reputable location and we felt like we were being referred to the ghetto.

Once inside the clinic, that impression did not change.  We were told we had to go to this clinic for our medical care by the Attorney office but had we had a choice initially, we would have not stayed upon the first visit.

The facility is not clean.  The workout mats and equipment are filthy and old.  You are forced to do your exercises in front of everyone coming into the clinic and in front of a window for the public to look in and see.  Remember, this place is supposed to be a medical care facility.  I had to bring my own exercise matt to feel like I wasn't getting grimmy from their matts that anyone can purchase from a local ToysRUs - the matts that link together like a puzzle.

We saw the chiropractor once and he never adjusted our back.  We were told that we were on a plan to come into the office 3 times per week and when we came in, the non-medical staff were souly responsible for our care, and I use the term "care" losely.  They were instructed to put electrode pads on our back for the Stems therapy. The "beds" for this therapy were in one big room and once again, you were on display for everyone to see.  These electro pads at times were placed below one's belt line.  We were offerred a massage but the staff giving the massage were not, in my opinion, professional massage therapists.  They simply rubbed IceHot on our back and called it a massage which it was not.  They also were responsible to show us to the roller bed therapy table, that was not in a private room either, and they set a timer.  This table is ripped to shreds and is disgusting to even touch - VERY outdated equipment and in disrepair.

When we asked if we were ever going to be adjusted, they said we had to go through the normal steps of Stems and massage and exercise, then get an MRI and Exrays (which they sent us out to another clinic for) before we got any real chiropractic help.  The duration of this process was never disclosed to us.  I really didn't feel better from the "therapy" sessions they were suggesting.

At my last visit there (last because I fired them after this visit) I was assaulted by another of their patients, indicative of the part of town this clinic is located in.  Because the "therapy" tables are not private this incident occurred.  I was set up, stomach down on a medical table and the Stems pads were placed on my back and my therapy started.  The idea of this therapy is to help a person to relax.  The woman in the bed next to me proceeded to play video games on her phone. I nicely asked her to turn the volume off for the 10 mins of my therapy and she refused.  I called in the staff and was going to ask them to move me to another table because I could not relax, and it was at that point this woman threated to "Kick my muther f*cking a**" and lunged at me. One of the Staff, a tall Black man who supposedly is one of the chiropractors, put himself inbetween this woman and I and escorted her out of the room.

I was face down on a table with electrodes attached to me and couldn't move until someone removed the pads, totally vulnerable.  The black man was laughing as he intervened in the situation. Another staff member wrongly told the woman she could play her games with loud volume.  The Director of the Clinic told her she was wrong after the fact but the fact remains that she had no reguard for my therapy needs and instead valued the right of people to disturb other patrons rather than valued the needs of all patients to have their therapy that was rooted in relaxation.  This staff woman inflamed the situation.  Very unprofessional.  I will share she was reprimanded by the Director for her poor decision - he reprimanded her in his office in front of me.  Clearly, his staff is not of a professional caliper.

I called the police to file assault charges and was afraid to leave the building by myself and wanted an escort to assure my safety.

The clinic refused to give the officers her contact information and a subpoena was required.  When the detective investigated the situation, the woman admitted to verbally threatening me and is being issued an assault by threat citation.  When the staff was questioned, they out right lied.  The said the incident never happened and that no assault occurred. The chiropractor denied even being in the room and stated "it never happened" that he restrained the woman when she lunged at me.

While I am getting justice because the woman who assaulted me was too stupid to lie and admitted she threatened to physically attack me, the staff at the clinic apparently felt they needed to lie about the incident.  It is my belief that they do not want any investigations of their clinic and don't want to touch this incident with a 10 foot pole.  I can only guess why that is.  My guess, they are operating an insurance scam and don't want the police looking into their practice.  That is my gutts feeling based on their practices that I experienced.  They seemed to want to rack up the medical bills as much as they could instead of get us the medical help and pain relief we needed from our injuries.  This is my opinion based on my experience. This opinion has grown over time but from the start red flags were flying, especially with their medical doctor.  I question whether or not he is operating with a valid medical liscense.  If you meet him, you will know what I am talking about. VERY shady character.

I would not recommend this clinic to anyone unless your intent is to scam an insurance company to get the most money you can when you don't really have real injuries.  I have REAL injuries and needed REAL medical care.  I did NOT find it here.  I transfered to a real chiropractor and received relief from pain within the first two visits as compared to not really feeling much better at Texas Workers Rehab after several weeks of going multiple times weekly.

This clinic is not worth you time if you are a respectable person in need of real medical help and you want a clean, professional environment in which to receive your care.
