I ordered both black and colored ink from this company. When I received the ink I found the box it came in was saturated in ink. I opened the box and found all of the little boxes that contained the ink cartridges were also leaking. When I opened the little boxes, I discovered ink all over the inside of the boxes and the cartridges. I cleaned one off as best I could and replaced my current empty black cartridge with the new one. I tried to use the printer and there was nothing on the paper except a few broken lines. I replaced the color ink and all that came out was a very pale yellow.
I called the company on their toll free number and was walked through a long set of instructions that included taking each ink case out of the box and wiping the area where the ink comes out briskly with a wet paper towel. I did this. I also got covered with ink. I was then told to hold the case under warm running water for a couple minutes, then set the case down on a paper towel with the side where the ink came out resting on the paper until morning and let it bleed a bit. "We fill our cartridges fuller than most, and I guarantee that this will work." The next morning two of the cartridges were well bled. In fact, I was glad I had placed a piece of plastic under them or my cabinets would have been ruined.
I tried one of the black cartridges that had bled and my printer acted as if their were no ink in the container. I called again and we told to rub where the ink comes out again with a paper towel and he again told me it would work. It didn't. At this point they had made me feeling like a dumb customer that couldn't follow their "simple" instructions. "Mam, if you did as I explained, they'd be working by now! We've been in business almost 20 years. I've had to help a lot of people with situations like this."
After a second 45 minute phone call, and ink all over my hands, face and printer, I gave up! I followed what I was asked to do, I hung up the phone, threw all the stuff back in the box, dumped it all in a plastic bag, sat it by the side of my desk and ordered ink from my printer company. It worked just fine. It was not my printer, as "TFP" had suggested.
