The CDN Company - "Margaret Carter" money-making Report $34.99

Hello,

Has anyone received a letter from "The CDN Company"? They relate a story about how a divorced mother, "Margaret Carter" discovered a "System" which made her a millionaire within 3 years.

The CDN Company is selling this "System" for $34.99.

My sense of this (from past experience) is that "Margaret Carter" is a completely made-up and fictitious persona. She doesn't exist.

The CDN Company address is nothing but a mail-drop (public mail box) in Methuen, MA.

If I were you -- I would *never* send any money to a company utilizing a PMB or PO Box. Especially if they don't list a telephone number answered by a "live person," no answering-machine balogny.

Their sales letter is nothing but a Blind Offer which purports to provide you with information which will make you rich (like Margaret Carter).

They want you to send them $34.99 to "find out" what they have for you. You will likely receive information that is of little use or help in your quest to make money. They hope you'll forget about your $34.99 payment and never request a refund. -- If you *do* ask for a refund - you may never receive it.

Post-dating your check is not an effective safeguard.

They will be able to cash it right away even if you post-date your check. Most companies will.

Post date cheques

The company offers a 90 day money back guarantee so why not postdate your cheque for, say two months, and then you will have the opportunity to cancel it if the "goods" do not meet with your expectations. Any "reputable" company will not mind this procedure.

I recieved and read the book promised. I think it is a reasonalble way to make money. The writer of the complaint has some smart warnings, but it may not be warranted in this case.
