It's time to learn about the US government and who wields the real power.  Many people believe the President holds all the aces, but nothing could be farther from the truth.  The President is our leader and he does have a lot of say on a lot of things, but the people who have the real power are the Senators and Representatives in Congress.  The Congress has the last say on everything and has never relinquished this power as far back as the Revolutionary War.  For today's woes we have only to go back to World War II to find out when things started to go wrong and who is primarily responsible for our plight.

All you need to do is find out which party has controlled Congress and for how many years since WWII and you will have the answer.  It is on public record and we put them there.  There is a balance of power within government, but the balance of power between parties is so lopsided, it is a wonder we are not already where we are currently going as a nation-state.  Think about it, then get mad.  Get mad at yourself for letting it go for so long and get mad at those who have used government and you for personal and public gain...  The Second Amendment is just about the only thing keeping us living the American dream and the American way of life.

Socialized medicine and the sequester will and have opened the door for the downfall of our forefather's dream of a new nation based on freedom, liberty, and justice.  One party is for centralization of government and socialization of services and they have had power for far too long.  The programs that FDR implemented during his time in office were in his own words temporary fixes, not meant to become permanent, but the Congress made them permanent in lieu of FDR's wishes.  Now we are in so deep, there does not appear to be a light at the end of the tunnel.  Fixing the US Congress would be the first step we can make to try and make things right again; and make those words; Freedom, Liberty, and Justice mean something again...
