I saw the same articles about the Montreal DVD Piracy busts. So . . I sent some email to [email protected] just to see if they would respond. I got the same old line of junk from them as always - as they were not able to find MY ficticious order referenced. So since December 19 - they are still responding to emails - or their email robot is still responding to emails. Make sure you call the RCMP number referenced and register this company as guilty of video piracy with them. Remember ANY product you receive from theDVDPlanet.org - including Postal Money Orders for refunds - need to be held as evidence as part of your piracy report. Keep after these vampires! Good luck!

According to a press release issued by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, a DVD piracy ring was broken up and 8 were arrested in Montreal on 12/19/2007. Although they don't specifically say the website names, it sure sounds like it is thedvdplanet.org (aka DVDcollections.tv and TVboxsets.com) based on the YV series titles mentioned in the article. The RCMP press release is at rcmp-grc.gc.ca/qc/comm/2007/12/071219b_e.htm. I have emailed the RCMP asking them to confirm that this is thedvdplanet.org. I will pass along any info I receive.
