The Gutter Shutter Co. Gutter Shutter Fails to Honor It's "Lifetime Warranty" Cincinnati OH

I discovered that the Gutter Shutter system which was installed in my home prior to me moving in was badly clogged, with rainwater pouring over the top and ultimately draining into my basement. I was unable to unclog the gutters myself, nor were any other gutter repair services, which indicated that the gutters would need to be torn off the siding and reinstalled.
The Gutter Shutter website indicates that its gutters and gutter guards have a "lifetime no clog warranty."
Numerous calls to Gutter Shutter's corporate offices to request repair services, including calls to Melissa Crain, their Director of Dealer Services, went unreturned. I eventually filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of Ohio demanding that Gutter Shutter honor its publicly-stated lifetime no-clog warranty. Amazingly, ignoring its own website, Gutter Shutter claimed that it does not offer any warranties on its gutters, and only its independent dealers do so. Gutter Shutter then claimed that the local dealer that installed my gutters is out of business, and it refuses to honor its warranty.
Buyers beware out there - not only does the Gutter Shutter clog, but the company will ignore its own warranty, and likely not even return your calls. A truly shady business.
