The Home Depot Store - Mark Ortiz - Mark Foster - Mark Williams ripoff dishonest fraudulent billing torn it around and made it if I rip them off, call the cops on me and put no trespass again me. Orlando Florida
In Sept 2003, I purchased some floor tiles using my Home Depot Credit Card and put the tile in a Will Call Status. When I went to pick up the tile, Home Depot had sold it to another customer. So, I picked out a new tile and paid cash money for the new tile. However, Home Depot did not credit back the amount charged to my credit card for the original tile.
Since my wife is stationed in Japan, I had to fly from Japan to Orlando in an attempt to correct this mistake. Upon returning to the Home Depot Store, I was told that I did not give them any cash money and that they had flipped the charges from the original tile onto the new tile order and that CASH on my receipt does not mean cash! I know I paid Home Depot cash money; I give them three - one hundred dollar bills, four fifty dollar bills, one twenty dollar bill, one ten dollar bill, one five dollar bill and 27 cents = $535.27 cents.
I have receipts from all transactions indicating I paid cash and copies of store transactions of what Home Depot's obsolete accounting system justifies and the two just don't add up! It appears Home Depot thinks they can take someone cash money and somehow justify that the individual (their customer) did not paid cash money. Cash on the receipt does not mean cash money, it means whatever Home Depot wants it to mean.
Something is definitely wrong!! I know this has happen before and I know it will happen again if Home Depot does not update their accounting system. The Home Depot that made the mistake is in Orlando Fl. - 13121 S. Orange Blossom Trail (407-240-2491).
