Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

We all know by now that home warranty companies like any other insurance company will do whatever necessary to take your money & deny claims as often as possible. This company however will leave you to die if any of your covered systems stop working over the weekend or holiday. Yes you read correctly. They are only open Monday thru Friday during 'regular' business hours. Have a problem on Friday evening and you won't have a contractor until Monday/Tuesday if you're lucky. Oh you can FILE a claim 24/7 but you will have to wait until they get back in the office.

My hot water heater died Friday night. Submitted a claim early Saturday via their website. It is now Monday & I still have no calls, no contractor & NO hot water.

We are a family of six & it has been around 100 degrees every day since the hot water stopped being hot. Now I understand that a cold shower isn't the end of the world but try to imagine putting your child under icy cold water when the temps are that warm. Quite a shock.  One family member has Rheumatoid arthritis & cannot subject her joints to that.

After 2 phone calls to this company to find the status of my claim I am quited dissatisfied & disgusted with the lack of empathy & callous response to my inquiry.

Please bear in mind that if a/c stops working when it hits 115 degrees it had better be during regular business hours or else we would need a hotel  room until HSC decides to send out  a tech.

Sadly the hot water heater could have been replaced & installed for what we have paid in premiums since joining & the deductible & it would have been installed on Saturday. This is 1 of the easiest things to replace as the old 1 is up to code & not too old (5 years, the new avg life on water heater).

Time to research more home warranty companies. Hopefully I can find a replacement before something else breaks.
