I have also turned in poems to this company, but apparently, was only a sucker just once. I bought the first book they claimed a great poem of mine needed to be included. That book was called Dawns's First Light and this was over 10 years ago. I did however receive this book, and it did contain my poem, only I kept it for one night, and 'lent' to the friend that I wrote it about, and have never seen it again. =*(
I sent in several more poems, some of which received publication, a less had not. There was even a time or two where my original featured poems were slightly later asked to be placed in a 'best of poems' book.
I only laugh cause I have not really thought much about any of this in many years. Only just tonight, did I decide to dig up some of my past an read my book of poems, and in the end, I mentioned which poems were 'supposedly published' in certain books.
So curiosity got the best of me, and I decided to search for the books that I thought had my poems in them. Yahoo search could not find my books, so I tried searching for the company since it had been so long, that I could no longer remember the website.
That's where I still think I found the right website, only looks completely different, and I can't seem to find not only my poems, but the books as well! This was also the same time I found this site, and started reading some complaints. Just found it all funny I guess.
Now I'm not going to get all worked up over weather or not this company is a scam, for 2 reasons.
1. It seemed valid with no complaints back then, but it does seem fishy now.
2. It was a long time ago, and I no longer care!

This is nothing but a service where they tell you that you are awesome, which they tell everyone by the way, and then you buy a framed version of your poem or a book that contains other people's poems and your own as well; other suckers that paid to have it done. The book is NOT a published piece of work that you would be able to find in the Library of Congress or anything, it just means that they print up your poem on nice paper and bind it up with other people's, and then charge you a ton of money for it. Sorry to burst your bubble, but you are not a groundbreaking poet that they are paying for you to come to Washington, D.C.; they are saying you are invited to come there and spend more of your money to feel special and important, THAT'S ALL.
