Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Whatever you do in life don't work for The Mascot Organization. They hire people to work as costumed characters or mascot escorts  at events.

When they interview you they will keep you on the phone for nearly half an hour explaining the history of their business. They will make you fill out paperwork and send it back. They will tell you it will be four to six weeks before the pay you. THIS IS A LIE. THEY WON"T PAY YOU AT ALL. they have a section in the fine print of the four page contract they will send you that you won't get paid until their client pays them. Although their clients are some very big companies they will continue to claim they haven't been paid until you give up. Unless you are in Ohio it would be very hard to sue them.

They will call you ten times before the event to make sure you are coming. If you have made a mistake on your paperwork they will wait til after the event you are working is over to tell you about it. this is so they can stall you a little longer.

On this subcontractors first (and only) hire, a bottleneck arose due to their incomplete and illegible IRS required paperwork.  This paperwork is required by law and necessary to process invoices & make payments.

The paperwork, after multiple delays, was eventually received at which point billing was able to proceed and the subcontractor then paid.  This matter has been resolved.

The claims made by this subcontractor were reviewed by our legal and senior management team and determined to be false.

We make every effort to fully honor our obligations in a timely fashion and treat our vendors fairly.  We are working to improve our electronic receipt of documents and vendor relationship management processes in order to speed-up the overall process.
