The Retail Equation is shill organization that Sephora, Best Buy and Home Depot use to deny returns.
When called they have call centers off-shore that finger point between companies as to why they reject returns, usually making up rules that are either secretly established by the retailer and not published or made up by this off-shore company.
As long as these retailers use The Retail Equation based in Irvine CA, but operating mostly off-shore, I advise consumers to NOT shop SEPHORA & Best Buy.
