I purchased training at the Rush Fitness center. Had a terrible trainer, stood me up, no show were every week. I complained to the Manager there, he said he would talk to him. Nothing ever got better, so I told him I didn't want to be trained by him again. It just so happened I was out of Training Sessions as well. So, the Manager (Josh) promised me if I signed up for more training sessions that he would assign me another trainer and at the same time spot (6:00am) that I required. I complied cause I didn't want to loose that slot. Time passed, never got a call back, two weeks passed, finally went to him in person, and he said he couldn't find me a trainer for that time period. I said, that's unfortunate but I would like a refund of the recent purchase of sessions. He said there were no refunds but he could put me with another trainer at the time slot if their choosing. I spoke with Cindy in recovery, and to more people than I cared to speak to, to no avail.
This is just wrong. I was lured into buying something on the assumption they could meet my terms. When they could not provide the service I required, I'm left out in the cold. This is just bad business. So, now my options are to spend $600 for an attorney to get back $264. Hardly seems worth the effort. So, please be aware, if you buy training sessions, please remember, there are NO refunds even if they cannot provide the service. They just want to get that money and will tell you ANYTHING for it.
P.S. The bad trainer was good enough to e-mail me every time he bailed on me, giving me an excuse, or telling me he was sorry. (14 e-mails) I have them all, offered to show them how many times, they didn't care or seem sympathetic even with tangible proof.
