I received a priority mail box with CD's and a Congratulatory letter. The packet also had Tips for students and a scholarship guide. In the packet there was also a policies and procedures sheet explaining that if you were dissatisfied that the unopened(?) CD could be returned if you dialed a given number which is now disconnected. I did get up with someone once and they agreed to send another CD but none was sent. I've been so duped. I can't find them by phone now or the WEB. HELP! I work too hard for my money to have been swindled like this and take it without a fight.

I recently received the same phone call and agreed to have the CD's shipped believing my son had signed up for it at school. When I asked him about it he too had no idea what I was talking about. It is clear that this company obtains the students names from a list that is generated from any student contact with the SAT program. I received the CD's and within a couple days called the company, after several tries I was able to talk with someone. They gave me the R/A# and told me to send the material back. I did not even unwrap the bubble wrap from the CD's so there should be no question to whether they were opened. I wrote the R/A3, which was my home phone number by the way, on the front, back, and side of the box to it should not be missed. I mailed the box back today. The strange thing is, I received another package today with the same CD enclosed. I am not sure why they sent a second shippment. I have tried to call them but only receive a recorded message that say's I have to hold. Unfortunatly no matter how long you wait no one comes on the line. I will keep trying to connect with them to get another R/A# to send the second shipment back. I must say after reading all the horor stories and complaints I am worried that this will all be fruitless and I may never see any refund. I have contacted my Credit Card Co. to see about having the charges held until I receive confirmation that the refund has been made. I am surprised at the responses from the company, very unproffessional. I would be glad to have any of the companies attornys contact me if they feel I am being unjust, it would just help speed justise along a bit. By the way I checked with the FBI, they have no record of any investigation on your behalf. Bullying people who complain and threatening them with lawsuits is a waist of time, from what I have read about this firm the farther they are away from a courtroom the better they are. I will withol any personal complaint and wait to see if this company follows through with a full refund in a timely manner, if not other avenues will be pursued.

The SAT and Act Prep Center Inc. will no longer tolerate slander from any website. Nor disgruntled clients or employees will claim false allegations against us. Those who choose not to state the true facts of their issues and need to post anonymously false allegations show your true malicious intentions and we take legal actions against those individuals. We have strict internal guidelines that employees must follow. We are Citizens, Entrepreneurs, also parents and believe in the product offered. We donate to High Schools. We also employ Teachers. We provide Jobs and we are God loving fearing people. We feed the hungry and have managed to help the needy by providing shelter, transportation and work opportunities. WE ALSO SPONSOR STUDENTS FOR COLLEGE!! This is hardly the M.O. of a greedy Group of people. In December 2008 we were able to sponsor 2 Families for Christmas. We also do not take advantage of the Economy we owe no banks as we are solid. Nor do we need to take advantage of any employees. We are debt free and do not owe the IRS anything. WE ARE VERY GOOD TO ALL OF OUR STAFF MEMBERS. However, we believe you lead by example we made internal changes that were necessary to ensure our employees and clients are treated with respect and not be abused. We started with changing Management staff and since these Changes and internal strict guidelines we have seen the positive changes take effect. We deal with employees according to law. We are an E.O.E and thrive to give individuals an opportunity to excel. We go beyond our call of duty. Therefore, show face with true information as there is no validity for individuals who file anonymously. We have had people post illegally in our behalf rude rebuttals and we notified the FBI. The case is being reviewed by Computer Forensics.

Well there has been another scam with this company. It has been brought to our attention that the OWNERS John and Frances Stuart has been scamming their employees. The employees have found out that they have currently been paying for insuarance for weeks and their insurance has been cancelled since OCT. What is wrong with these people they are a DISGRACE to private owners who try to run a trusted company they are making the city of Dallas, well Coppell look awful. They should know that this is against the law and should be SHUT DOWN! But don't forget once this company close they are only going to up and MOVE. They already owe the IRS thousands of dollars and I can't believe that know they are getting over on the employees who work hard for them SHAME!SHAME!SHAME!

Thank god for this website. This Is a company who don't care about there custormer's they are many of them. It seem's they don't like being reported well what company. They tell the custormers they will file a lawsuit to keep them quiet they usually have something to hide when the business start acting like this. This Is to the poster do not let them scare you we have a right to make a complaint when we believe they have taken advantage of us. We have enough to worry about today yet we have to take crap from businesses like them.

When a Students checks off the intesrest for the Study Materials. We contact the Parents to ensure the request is a real request. These Students can check off interest online, College Career Day or many other sources. There are times the School Counselor may provide the interest for the Students. We have a policy and it is provided verbally and in writing: At the time of the Confirmation, we provide A MANDATORY CONFIRMATION OF THE PURCHASE. This is recorded and stored. We also provide a packet that contains our POLICY, RETURN REQUEST, the same information in writing that it is provided with the mandatory confirmation at the time of the call. The client has to read our Parent Waiver, return it signed that they have understood the Policies we provided. When the client calls us, we have no problem providing them with the assistance they need since this is an investment in their STudents future. We have a number that has always worked 866-400-7737 and 972-956-0933. The person placing this complaint has no validity has out numbers have always worked and we are listed with 411. We are not affiliated by KAPLAN we are not a part of KAPLAN nor did we ever claim that we were any part of Kaplan aside from selling their awesome product. We train our staff intensively, we take mis-representaion from our staff VERY SERIOUSLY. We are not a scam and we have not mislead the client. We have a Customer Service Dept. dispute Dept and we are a very reputable Company. We are so tired of the abuse of Consumers claiming foul play, claiming fraud in their part. It's is pretty straight. IF THE STUDENT DECIDES NOT TO USE THE CD. The parent has 30 days to return it so we can get it to another Student. If the seal to the CD is removed then we have a Copy right infringement LAw that is Federal and mandated. I cant take back the product. Go to any store, purchase Software and open it. You will not be a ble to return it. If their is a problem they ask you call the maker of the CD. We at SAT and ACT Prep go above and beyond that, if a client calls and claims the CD is not working we will resend a CD and they have to return the defaulted product. The Materials touch on the Test and Prepares the Students for a successful passing experience. That is our Goal and we will no longer tolerate slander, liars and we are willing to take this the Legal route if we have to. No where do we claim to be Kaplan, no where in our Company name do we claim the snide remark from the individual who placed the Fraudulent report. They might find themselves with a Lawsuit them selves for DEFAMATION. I also feel Rip Off Report is abused by consumers that like to slander hard working Business Owners like us! Maybe we should create a site for Business Owners to file complaints on clients who cant follow contrcats and procedures and burn Reputable and Good Companies.
