Had a very similar experience and noticed a lot of the same issues above. The big thing is while they claim you can cancel within 3 days, you can't get a hold of them. We tried to get them to come back the same day to correct the shotty work and told them if they don't to cancel us out. They never came and conveniently forgot the cancel part until it was mentioned a month or so later in which event it was past the 3 days.
You can't contact these guys easily--just ask the bbb they should tell you. They tried to contact them on our behalf and ultimately sent us a letter saying they were closing our case because they tried 2 times to contact them but received no response back. No doubt they were trying by both phone and mail as well. If the BBB can't contact them, how can anyone else? How can someone cancel within the 3 days if not happy?
If you still want to sign a contract and do it through one of their door to door sales persons, voice record the entire conversation first. Then make it clear on the contract where you can opt out if not happy (including being able to contact them to do so), and make the sales person amend their paperwork as such and sign it themselves.
