The Travel Center VRC, FUN TIME VACATIONS, THE TRAVEL CENTER This company advertises that they will give you a free trip for sitting through a 90 minute long presentation then they make you fill out several forms requesting $69 per person as the activation fee or taxes on your trip that you have to pay for you must send more information and they say that they will book your trip for you once you send in an additional $50 per person Clarksburg Maryland
We received a postcard in the mail for a free trip for two for 3 nights, plus hotel, for attending a 90 minute long presentation at a hotel in Kemah ,Texas. At the end of the presentation they give you a voucher for 2 free tickets and a form to contact a company called the Travel Center to get your free tickets. Once I sent off the initial form I received an email with another form stating that I would need to pay the taxes and fees for our trip which would be $69 per person and once I sent these off we could finalize our booking for our free vacation. Well, I did this and then yet again, received another form stating that I could choose my trip and finalize my trip once they received an additional $50 per couple. At this point a red flag went off and I realized this is probably not a reputable company even though they appear that way up front. I googled the Travel Center along with the address in Clarksburg Maryland and realized that this is a company that just scam people out of their money! I am in the process of emailing this company and I would like a full refund of $138 I have paid in for nothing apparently!This company needs charges put against them for just ripping people off and stealing their money!
