The Wheel Warehouse Inc ripoff, no refund, no credit, no repair, We have a problem Kerrering Ohio
I ordered a wheel for my car from The Wheel Warehouse Inc. thinking that the rim was bent. I also ordered a repair for the bent rim and shipping was charged for the rim to be sent back and repaired. After receiving the new rim, I discovered that the bearings were the cause of the vibration and not the rim.
I kept the new rim for a spare and called, to ask that the cost of the repair and the shipping be credited back to my card.
I was assured that it would be. After 3 calls and assurances from Brian the mannager and Taresa the office girl, and only 5 mounths. Still no refund.
The amount of the refund is only $125.00 for the repair and $17.00 for shipping ($142.00) total.
But it boils down to plan principle. Why should I simply forget about it, or allow it be forgotten.
So for my $142.00 the least I can do is to give The Wheel Warehouse Inc. some free press. To draw attention to their customer service, or 'Lack of' To simply tell anyone who wishes to know that my dealings with them were not what I expected them to be.
