We are of course never happy when a consignor seems to face difficulties with the process of having their dolls sold through our services.
As the global leader in this industry and a firm who handles between 500-1000 consigners per year - with over 30,000 transactions resulting - we pride ourselves in having very few complaints in relation to this process which, at times, can be a complex one in working towards the satisfaction of both buyers and sellers.
With that said, this consignment was handled in the normal course (and as contracted) however some collections, whose dolls consist of more common and typical types (as was the case here) of which the market is inundated with at this time, might require extra time in order to find buyers.
I assume that since this post was written - the check and reports were received and that not having them in 5 days after speaking to Mrs. Theriault was not a reason for concern in the normal course of the mail. In fact, Mrs. Theriault rushed the process for you as a courtesy prior to the consignment actually closing as it was still in auditing under our terms.
In regards to the confusion over the names - this was in fact the case. Your last name, which is not shown here, is quite common and we had two with identical consignor codes that created confusion in our system in Mrs Theriault personally getting this processed through for you early.
Finally, your statement regarding Theriault's and financial information is not only false but far from reality and a comment that we suggest you re-think. This year we have completed nearly 30,000 transactions with sales nearing $12M making 2012 the most successful in the the company's 42-year history.
We wish you the best of luck in your hobby of dolls for the future and the continued joy of collecting.
