Thirfty Propane THRIFTY PROPANE IS A SCAM! ; BBB WHERE ARE YOU?? MEDINA, Ohio
Had Thirfty Propane for two years. First year no problem with the pre-buy plan.
Second year in Dec. 8,2016, orderd propane for my mom and dad (80 yrs old on fixed income)and myself.
Propane gauge 30% for my dad and 35% for me. My parents ran out of fuel on the 23rd of December and when I called they couldnt let me know when they were coming. I then called SOC (service oil company) to deliver fuel,plus $100 for special delivery because of Cristmas Eve.
Make a long story short: I called Thirfty to refund roughly $1000 for each of us that we already paid since THEY broke their own contract buy not delivering fuel within 10 business days as quoted in the contract. I have all four receipts to prove what I got and what we spent for each delivery.
Called mutiple times to receive NO answer!
Even got my credit card company(Discover) involved to file a dispute who said they could refund our money (temporily)until the case was resolved.
After 30 days Discover also found out what I'm been telling them that no one will receive our calls at Thrifty.
The only person who I could contact was the salesman, who I always ordered from. His name was (Brad).
When I contacted Brad, he pulled the account up and said we owe $166.00 because he said Discover received the money, which they never received a dime .
Discover put the all the money back on my account on my credit card and applogized for not resolving the issue.
Is there anybody who could direct me in resloving this issue?
