Thomson Education Direct is a useless ripoff!!! Scranton Pennsylvania
I was almost in my third semester to receive my Associates from Education direct when it was bought by Thomson.., it was Harcourt prior. Almost from the day they were bought I began to have problems.. with Billing, customer service and student help. Because of them right now I am out $800 and have NO degree. I could not complete my semester because the staff would not call me back or return emails.
The only thing they called for was when I refused to send my remaining payment of $40.00. Then they called me at least 4 times a day everyday all hours of. Not only was the fact I needed help with a particular part of my study and no one seemed to care, but they messed up on the total amount I owed.., twice !
I also realized and brought it to their attention several times that some of the answers in the back of the book are wrong...this is important because how do you know if you are doing it right if they have it wrong? Their programs are not reccommended to anyone by me !!
