Upon reading some of the reviews on here regarding the cyffa and on yelp. I was hopeful and optimistic that the ones that are not recommended were wrong and the ones that were approved were right, but after 5 weeks of games I must say that both are right. Especially the not recommended reviews on yelp.
Kids are getting hurt and should just play tackle football it would be safer. The fields are in bad condition with pot wholes everywhere. The league directors seem to be more concerned with petty politics rather than the over all approval of the parents.
My 2 boys love playing, but also are concerned with getting hurt. My youngest son's teammate broke his arm in a practice and I understand accidents happen, but this is supposed to be flag football. Not full contact flag football with no safety pads other than a soft helmet and knee pads. The contact that is allowed in these games would be better suited for tackle football.
We will not be coming back next year. We will play somewhere else. I suggest you read more on yelp (the not recommened ones) and on here about cyffa. They seem to be the most accurate.
