How's this for (un)ethical? I called before ordering a new computer (monitor sold separately) to make sure that the computer was "plug n play" ie I wouldn't have to make any modifications.

The "techie" that I spoke with prior to ordering ASSURED me that the computer would be fine and the 18" monitor that I purchased with it was compatible. Imagine how shocked (not to mention to mention PISSED) I was when I get this $1300 piece of useless equipment and it has NO VIDEO CARD.

This means...I can't use it. I spent a total of 5 hours on the phone last weekend (on hold) to get a return authorization (which is required when a customer wants to return merchandise). How does TigerDirect prevent you from returning equipment that you can't use? They don't answer the phone nor do they respond to emails.

I am also forwarding this to the Florida attorney generals office. BIG black eye for Tiger (not so)Direct.
