Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Time Warner Cable 1st scheduled my installation for May 5th, had me shut off my other phone service, then their tech never showed up to install my phone, internet & TV. I called them a couple of hours after the window the tech was supposed to show up & I was told that my installation had to be "rescheduled" for a few days later, as the tech took off for "the holiday".

3 months of phone calls & not receiving what I was paying for on TV & my internet being very slow at times, most of the time (sometimes as slow as dial-up, other times slow - around 1-3 Mbps, when I am paying for 15 Mbps)

They were supposed to keep my same number, they didn't & when I called, I was told that it was "too late", that they had already assigned another phone number to my home, thus I had to change my number with everyone!

They sent several people to my home, telling me that they would take care of the shoddy wiring job their predecessor did (according to some articles, they were responsible for fixing those problems). They sent out a clueless clue from some contracted company that didn't have proper testing equipment. The tech told me, AFTER he tore out ALL, or nearly all the cable from my home, that I was going to be charged for every single re-cabling job he did! I called TWC & was told that "yes, there is a charge", but thankfully wasn't charged, as the problems still existed. The tech had to have a supervisor come out that straightened the billing part out & he did some test, then left. This one tech left ALL my doors & windows open on a hot day last September. He "stapled" cable around the door frame of my bedroom, which had to be removed & damaged the molding when he did, cable that went to my computer in my office was missing, along with a $200 amplifier I had bought that one of the guys that was here from that crew flat out stole. I called the company, talked to a supervisor, and was told it would be "taken care of". It never was to this day (A "supervisor" told me today that he knew nothing about this & there was "nothing in their notes", AND that although I had pictures, etc. I was willing to send him, he said "unless you have a claim number, then basically I was a liar). The techs that came out were going to leave holes in the walls! They covered them with plates after I told the man unequivocally, that he was NOT going home leaving holes in my walls! I AGAIN called TWC & the man took my cell phone & went outside for roughly 45 minutes, as my phone was still not working!

They had to have a supervisor come out, a few days later, had the proper testing equipment & discovered that the problem with the signal was from their wire going to the house

I STILL am missing channels.

Fast Forward to the many, many times my cable has gone out, not worked, etc., after about an hour & a half on the phone with this company earlier this evening, my cable box "magically" quit working! I called again, talked to a young tech that said he tried some things to get my box working again & told me there were no appointments until the 19th of July (today's the 13th/14th - yep! we went over the midnight line!), so they expect me to either have a tech come out & exchange this BTW VERY old box (the huge card-box style) OR if they pick it up & I cancel my service, I'll get charged another $35 (& the guy SAYS I'll be reimbursed for the time my box doesn't work, or that I don't have service - as if they've ever done THAT before - NOT!), OR I can take it over 20 miles into the next town over to their office if I cancel my service (Mind you, I'm disabled & would need someone to drive me, or take an ADA bus, which is painful, & yes! They know this!) How I'm supposed to get on a bus with a box that I'm not sure I could safely pick up makes no sense at all, and if they are THAT busy, then you can bet they have service people in my area (I've seen the trucks). Perhaps their business is going under? I dunno, but I wouldn't let these people in my home ever again after what their "techs" did.

The guy on the phone, their tech, tells me the box is dead (I have to wonder if this old box & the one before it hasn't been part of the problem all along?) So they want to charge me a "service fee" to pick up a box they likely knew was on it's last leg anyhow? And is apparently now dead altogether? (I can get the lower channels, but after paying $160+/month for the service, you'd think I'd get better service than this & I don't watch those channels anyhow.)

TWC is going to loose me as a customer, along with others who have gone to dish & other services in my area. It seems they gouge disabled and older customers in our area since they closed their office in town. Sad that a company has such incompetent people doing work for them & that they send their old boxes up here & people elsewhere have the newer, smaller boxes that don't need a tech to replace, fix, or whatever, so they can gouge you for an extra $35 or so when you're done with the non-working service.
