Time Warner Cable covers up for credit card scam, identy theft, has told us that we have defective televisions, reception extremely bad, told us our televisions' tuners are bad, over charged Binghamton New York
Time Warner Cable has come to covering up for "identy theft". They refuse to produce records with signed signatures of the person that used my husband's name to have cable installed in Johnson City, NY.
Yet, they made us prove that we have never lived in Johnson City, NY. Still, they have not provided records so the person that stole my husband's identy and signed his name, so that person can be arrested.
We have complained to Time Warner several times concerning our reception. We were told that the tuners on 2 different televisions are at fault. Yea, right and then I woke up.
Then, Time Warner took off the Game Show Network. The plan was to force customers to pay for their digital cable and extra boxes. We are on a fixed income and cannot afford anything else.
We were told that Time Warner was "not" going to raise the cable bill this year. Yet, after they took the Game Show Network off the basic cable, they raised the basic rate.
I called Time Warner that I would turn it off if they did not give the Game Show Network back and lower the bill. They refused, so I turned it off.
I now have a dish and my bill is half what Time Warner was charging. I have a lot more channels.
Get this, our 2 televisons have crystal clear recption. It was not the tuners. It is the fault of Time Warner not wanting to do repairs to their wires!
Now, they have sent me a bill for less than 2 weeks of partial service (stations that we could not view) for $32.90.
Maybe when they can provide me with the evidence that I need to catch a criminal I will think about giving them some money, but they will never see the $32.90.....
