Time Warner Cable RIP-OFF DISHONEST, FRAUDULENT BILLING Dallas, Carrollton, Addison, Coppell, Irving, Grapevine, Farmers Branch, Frisco, Rockwall, Mckinney, Euless, Hurst, Bedford Texas
When Comcast was running things, My cable internet bill was a consistent $58 a month, every month. The payment was due on the 21st of everymonth. I paid my bill of $58 every month on the 19th.
Now that TWC is in charge, my payment amount and billing dates fluctuate. I have been billed as often as 3 times in 5 weeks. I found myself paying a bill on November 3rd, and got another bill due November 20th. I call them and ask why..
After 35 mintutes of explaining things to them, they inform me that it was a computer-error. So I calmly ask them to void the 2nd bill. They say they can't. They say that is the bill for December, and I wont get another bill until January. Alright cool with me.
Well I thought it was cool. That is until i get another bill in the mail that is due for December 14. Do the math. That's like 5 weeks, 3 bills. I know when I've been had.
My point - I pay all my bills on time, everytime. I'm not rich, but I manage my finances well. I make $3900 a month, and have only $1050-$1200 worth of bills. (the electric, water and now cable fluctuate according to usage.) My point is I can easily pay my bills, buy food and gas, and go out several times a month. That leaves me with at least $1000 each month. I don't mind paying my cable bill ahead of time if they release billing for the next month, but that isn't the case. I was robbed.
I've spoke with them countless times, with no results. I've given them notice to disconnect the cable before the next billing cycle. I'll probably end up still paying 2 more bills, but it will be worth it.
