Tio Chuy's Auto Sales guilty of Bait and Switch Scam    

     My daughter went to the Tio Chuy dealership and test drove a Chevy Malibu, she enjoyed the vehicles smooth ride and ease of handling and decided to purchase the vehicle. After completing a great deal of the paper work, she was told that vehicle would need detailing and she could pick the vehicle up the next day.

   When she arrived the next day to pick vehicle up she was given a different Malibu and she quickly noticed that this Malibu lacked the smooth ride and the rear tires where making a noise, she noticed that the dash was also different from the vehicle she had test driven include the color was slightly darker.  

   I contacted Tio Chuy's Auto Sales Oklahoma  city dealership and offered a simple solution for both my daughter and the dealership, my daughter would return the vehicle and the dealership would be compensated for failing the required paper work needed to resolve the issues saving the taxpayer's money by not using the courts, judges and lawyers with the lawyers being the only true winners in these types of cases. 

    Tio Chuy's Auto Sales refused the compromise, stating that the vehicle would need to go to auction and my daughter would need to pay the remaining cost not collected at the auction to include they would submit the information as a repossession negatively impacting her credit.  This is an unsavory acts done by Tio Chuy and needs policing. Furthermore, this is clearly a bait and switch scam and Tio Chuy's Auto Sales dealers license should be suspended or revoked in both Oklahoma City and Tulsa. Perhaps, then Tio Chuy's Auto Sales will be prompt to introduce ethics into their business plan.
