Today, July 22nd I brought my car in to get an oil change. I received a call and they proceed to tell me that I need front and rear brakes, struts, fuel injection, front tires, alignment. I told them, really front and rear brakes I just had them done 3 months ago by my mechanic which I have used for over 20 years. After I paid for my oil change, I drove straight to my mechanic and NO, I DO NOT need any of that work. I will never go back again.

In a three month span, there are PLENTY of reasons why they could already go bad. Calipers seizing up can cause accessive pad wear. Or more than likely you did whats called a "pad slap" 3 months ago. Which is they put brand new pads on old, pitted, groved, overheated rotors. So the surface contact to the rotor is not what it should be. VERY common, and hard to understand if you know nothing about cars. If you feel vibration at all, its the rotors being warped. I gaurentee it.
