Tissa Godavitarne Acme-people-search Affiliatize The Acme People Search Is A Guru's way of Ripping You OFF By telling You that you are lazy and don't work hard enough to be successfull Herndon, Virginia
The Acme People Search Is method to separate people form their money while making them feel like they are really doing something for themselves.I joined the APS with the understanding that it would help my GDI Business while earning me some extra cash, after going through the signup procedure I had some questions and sent in a support ticket in to the site that's when the trouble began I didn't get a answer to my email for two weeks and it then didn't answer the question I ask in the first place. During this time I kept seeing possible sales show up in my back office of the site but none of them were ever finalized they all disappeared before they made it to me.
After the trouble with my first support ticket I went to send in another one and found out that the support ticket function was no longer available. Now if you wanted help you were supposed to join the forum and post questions there. I tried this and could not even find out how to post on the siteit took me five tries to get a post accepted and the answer I got back was that I was lazy and all of my problems with the system were because of this. Finally I tried to call the Phone number listed on the webpage back office but when I finally got through it was a answering machine that said if your question pertained to Acme people search you had to go through the support tickets on the site no questions about APS would be answered by phone.Nice circular runaround here.
At that point I decided to quit APS and canceled my membership and contacted paypal to let them know that my subscription with APS was no longer good. Well the next month paypal sends me a bill for APS I told them that I had quit them and informed paypal itself that a week earlier. Paypal then tells me that they have no record of my call to them and that APS was a very large customer and would not make a mistake like that so it was my fault.
I don't have much else to say except that if you are smart you will avoid Acme People Search unless you like being Ripped Off
