Titan Roofing and Restoration AKA Rick Richter Rick called me to ask if I could do a roof repair on a high end house here in knoxville. I went to do the job and customer was satisfied with my work. When asking for my money, all of a sudden Rick refuses to answer the phone or e-mails. He refuses to pay what he owes me. Nashville Tn
Was on a job one day and got a call from Titan Roofing and Restoration. The guy said he was out of Nashville and his name was Rick Richter. He asked me to do a roof repair for him as he was in Nashville and the job was in Knoxville where my company is located. I went to his job and fixed the problem. He now wont answer his phone or e-mails as I am asking for my money he owes my company. Its been over a month now since I completed the work and after calling him again to ask for my money, He threatened me through an e-mail to call the police on me. I am the one whos being ripped and now he wants to make my company look bad because Im angry about him ripping my company off. Heres the e-mail he sent:

Rick, I was counting on that hundred dollars last week for something that we needed. Its not there again today. I always keep my word when I tell someone something and I don't expect no different from anyone else. If we don't receive that money soon, It will be out of my hands and will get put in the overdue collections box at the office and corporate will be handling it. Save yourself some hassle and just send the money NOW.

My attorney called to inform me that he has researched some things and will do follow up with Metro. You may recognize this number 00222758. As stated, I have documented your message and my coorespondence to the proper authorities.

Brad,
Your message was quite threatening and was forwarded on to the company attorney and the properr authorities for documentation. I have called you multi times and you DO NOT have a voice mail set up. FYI: if you checked your email a month ago you would have known that I sent your money to Walmart. I assure you no threat will ever be taken lightly and I assure you this your name your company name, your addresse, and your phone number was turned over along with the voice mail you left to Metro. My advice to you is if you choose not spend another term in TDOC you will go away quietly.

Ive been to walmart and no money has been sent there or to my office address. I guess asking for my money is threatening him and why would he research my personal life for asking him to pay me? Ive spent money on materials for his work and have spent money on gas for him. I guess he wanted me to work for free and I didnt know it.
