TKO ENTERTAINMENT INC. TOTAL KNOCKOUT ENTERTAINMENT I was totally ripped off and I did not know it. Internet, Internet
TKO Entertainment,Cleveland Ohio, TKO DJS,Cleveland Ohio TOTAL KNOCK OUT ENTERTAINMENT,Cleveland Ohio, Bob Kusek, Disc Jockeys, Wedding Receptions by TKO ENTERTAINMENT. AVOID AVOID AVOID AT ALL COSTS BRIDES, THIS GUY REALLY SUCKS.
TKO Entertainment did my wedding reception a 8 weeks back, There was some sort of problem with the reception hall and the management going to have them thrown out of the place but that I will address later. What really upset me and I am not alone was the fact that most of the people at my reception were at my older sisters wedding reception, about 80% of them. My older sisters wedding was this past weekend. I did not realize what a screwing I took from TKO UNTIL I heard a REAL DJ, do my sisters wedding. I got really angry when I saw this other DJ really rock the house. I mean this guy was so awesome I felt sick that my guests had to settle for TKO Entertainment.
This goof from TKO started to dance with us, like since when does he jump in on my reception and start dancing. There were 2 DJ's and the one looked like a deer in the headlights. He had no clue as to what he was doing while Gene Gene the Dancing Machine (NOT) was on the dance floor. Both guys looked like misplaced casino card dealers, heck you can see the outfit on his website http://tkodjs.com check it out if you think I am kidding.
My sister told me that I really got ripped off, but she told me something that really upset me. TKO did something in the reception hall during my reception that apparently the venue had told them to get out. Here is what I found out. My sister handled the DJ's etc.
We dealt with TKO Entertainment for our wedding. Meet with your DJ if possible (I Didn't my sister did) and communicate only with him. For ours, TKO Entertainment insisted on being the point man on all communication.
Although TKO Entertainment appears fine at first, this only continues if you run an "on track" wedding by the numbers. Deviate from this, such as we did (broke up the wedding party entrance into two songs, apparently a cardinal sin), and TKO Entertainment will "advise" (read: argue) that it cannot be done, will look bad, this or that. Stick with a standard wedding game plan, and you are fine. Attempt to change things up or do something fun,TKO Entertainment has too much trouble adjusting. He will always say "We will do whatever you want", but he will get visibly agitated and protest/advise a lot. He has HIS idea of how weddings should go, and you better stick with it. Otherwise, it gets uncomfortable and weird.
Further, we asked TKO Entertainment to check out the space (he had done weddings there before but we were not using the standard wedding hall at our location) and gave him the building event coordinator's card. TKO Entertainment never bothered to check the space out, then sent a technician the day of the wedding who mysteriously left 15 minutes after he arrived, with nothing done. I did not know this because I was getting ready when TKO Entertainment called.
TKO Entertainment proceeded to yell at ME following this, saying that he was not aware that there was a wedding coordinator involved here, and his tech had been told to leave by the staff and may not come back None of this was accurate. Keep in mind there was no wedding coordinator, there was simply an on-site event coordinator (who was still en route, so he hadn't told the tech to leave), whom TKO Entertainment had the business card of for weeks. Further, certainly no one at this location had told the technician to pack up his stuff and get out. TKO Entertainment then changed tactics, saying it wasn't the event coordinator who told him to leave but the Best Man. This was even more absurd. I had to get heated back at TKO Entertainment to get the technician back.
The technician did return and then attempted to hook up a sound system worthy of a Van Halen concert into the ceremony spot, which was an intimate space. (This goes back to TKO Entertainment not checking the actual space out prior to the event, even though he had the on-site coordinator's name weeks ago and could have literally done this at any time of day or night.)
Luckily, the location had their own sound system, and the event coordinator (now with my permission) told TKO Entertainment tech to get the Van Halen equipment out, and the wonderful staff worked with a engineer fron CH 19 (a guest mind you) to get us miked and the system set up.
Prior to this,TKO Entertainment also demanded we select each and every song to be played that night. We only wanted certain songs to be definitely played, and a few "blacklisted". Other than that, we didn't mind what the DJ played, we just requested standard wedding playlists and honor requests.
No good. TKO Entertainment insisted we pick each and every song, both in paper and on his website for dinner and throughout, and then complained that we picked too much and he couldn't be expected to supply all these songs. I'm not kidding. Each and every song from his lists that we wouldn't mind hearing were to be chosen, then he complained we chose too much. I told him to simply bring whatever professional DJs normally bring to weddings.
I was about to replace him with an IPod on the day of the wedding. Avoid this one, brides and grooms to be.

It should be obvious that this letter was not written by one of our clients. There is no date given as to when the event took place. No location mentioned, and why didn't you mention the name of the DJ who did all this horrible stuff to you?
TKO does not dance with the guests, TKO does not have technicians and we never mic the bride and groom for ceremonies. Also, we would never tell a couple that they have to pick every song they want played.
Please show me proof that we were contracted to do this event. The writer claims we did the event 8 weeks from the time the report was posted (october 25th). So what date was the wedding held? (August 20th?, August 27th?) We've received amazing letters back from every single couple 0we did a wedding for on those weekends. All very very pleased.
I also find it laughable that the name of another northeast ohio DJ service is mentioned in this letter. Hmmmm.
This letter is a total hoax.
